With regards to interest or cashback?
Cashback is a calendar month (I'm almost certain).
Interest is by daily closing balance.0 -

Sports Direct are now contactless.0

This is definitely right as I phoned TSB yesterday to double check, have loaded up an Asda Gift card the past few days to hopefully use in January 17 after cash back ends end of Dec.0 -

Erm... however if you have only loaded the card in the last few days it will most likely appear as a Sept transaction on your statement.
I spent contactless in Aldi last Friday and it appears as Aug 30th transaction!!
Also went shopping in Tesco yesterday bought my first £30gift card and £30 shopping- 2 transactions- but doubt that they will reach the bank before Sept 1st. Ho hum!! I couldn't do it earlier in the month as I had not long had the card (a/c no2)
Contactless has only really become truly viable for me at this late stage 'cos finally nearest Tesco has become contactless.Being polite and pleasant doesn't cost anything!

Flipping card worked in there today when I was only spending £1, unlike yesterday when it refused £15 in Aldi. How annoying is that??!!
I make a lot of small purchases (around £1-£1.50) and it has occurred to me to do PIN with the odd one (but perhaps once a week) to try to defer the demand to use the PIN when you have a £20 or so bill to pay (when I would switch to a different card of course).0 -

Bills dated in the last few days of the month don't all get shown with that date by the last day of the month, when you check your account online. I don't know which date TSB uses to calculate the cash-back, so it may be wise not to count them - if you are monitoring your spending to reach £100.0
