Still a work in progress, got the Purple Bricks area manager coming round on Tuesday to discuss how unhappy I am with the advert his EA produced. But, I've redone all the photos and completely rewritten the advert. Hopefully this will help.

That does not look like the same house, it looks twice as big. It seems there are some far better estate agents on here than out there, JenB.

Some of the pictures seem very dark - might be my computer but worth asking PB for some of them to be taken again.

I think it is worth spending the money to have a cupboard put around the boiler - not a great thing to have in the dining room!

A few more pictures too - the lawned area of the garden? Other angles for the rooms?

What is that 'thing' by the settees in the lounge? Is it a fireplace? I would have a go at rearranging the furniture in the lounge (if you can) all looks a bit symmetrical.

Super critical I know and, other than the boiler, nothing that should put the buyer off.

The three valuations we've had and recent sales on this road suggest otherwise but only time will tell. A terrible advert and a quiet time of year definitely won't have helped so I'm not going to rush to drop the price just yet.

Just an update, yesterday we accepted an offer of almost 98% of the asking price. The advert had a total overhaul last week by a different Purple Bricks agent - it's amazing what a good advert can do!
