I had chicken and tarragon soup for lunch with salad - lettuce, cucumber, tomato, spring onion, grated carrot, beetroot, pine nuts and dressing.

I was in the kitchen for ages today making lots of fiddly little things - tahini, falafel burgers, soup, ratatouille, steamed and mashed carrots and parsnips , roasted trays of cashews and hazelnuts, made up a batch of thai red curry paste and peanut sauce as well as ketchup and sweet chili sauce. All portioned and frozen or stored in jars and bottles etc. SO much prep work for everything. The dishwasher is on for the third time today and there's another load waiting to go in.

I made grilled chicken for dinner with some of the peanut sauce, We had it with carrots, cabbage, orange and rice.

I had a banana and an apple, and I may have snacked on a falafel burger or two... and nuts... and tahini... what can I say, it was a long day:D.

    Totals today: 9:3.

I'm starting again with my healthy eating tomorrow (Monday) and restarting my zero sugar for the 35th time, I think I start the no sugar every other day and usually fail by midday.

I've ordered myself a 1kg bag of tiger nuts, these are supposed to be good for keeping you fuller for longer and tons of amazing other health benefits like diabetes and stomach problems. There are no shops near me that sell tiger nuts so I had to buy them online.

I've bought more veg than fruit this week as I find it's more universal for me, I can eat most veg either raw in salads or cooked in meals.

I can be quite healthy and on target at home but at work then all my plans go out of the window. I never fancy what I have brought for breakfast or lunch and someone else's lunch always appeals more then my own. As I don't like eating my food ice cold out of the fridge and eat it at room temperature I am unable to save it for another day if I don't fancy what I've made. I quite often give away my lunch and go and purchase something totally unhealthy and quite often have milkshake and crisps as well. If I've eaten something unhealthy then I may as well go the whole hog and buy extras, my big downfall is all or nothing mindset.

Then there is the never ending cakes and biscuits being passed around.

Sounds like not taking money to work so you can't buy anything else might be an idea squiggles.

And maybe reporting back on this thread or the 'giving up sugar' one, or both might help.

I need to restart again properly tomorrow (not sure on the giving up sugar one, although I should, as I can't digest sucrose), so I'm happy to be your buddy... I'm about to have a dig through the fridge (lots of veg that's been abandoned for a week while I've been in bed with the lurgy) and come up with a meal plan/do some batch cooking. I'll be back later to update.

Breakfast today - avocado on toast (1) and toast and honey... oops...

Just 1:3 today, but I made little effort. The 1 was down to a veggie pizza fail at lunchtime, the fruit was this evening when I realised how little I'd eaten all day.
