I am determined to make a new start today: am heading home after another week away and my veggies await! I am not concentrating on this in nearly the same way I did when going sugar free, so the results are only to be expected.
The day started with a weigh-in and BMI calculation: 22.8 and I feel as sluggish as hell. Aldi, here I come....!

Sunday-I'll admit I had to be a bit creative yesterday, had Avocado, Banana, Side Salad, Corn on the Cob and Coleslaw.Debt Free Stage 1 - Completed 27/08/2020
Debt Free Stage 2 - Completed 50/181 Payments0 -
Fruit smoothie (1) and tomatoes on toast (1.5) for breakfast (need to try to do more veg-based breakfasts). Chickpeas (2.5) with cucumber, radish, tomato (4) and carrot and beetroot salad (6) for lunch. Lamb stirfy with carrot, cabbage, garlic, chilli, ginger, red/yellow/orange peppers, courgette and spinach for supper (I'm guessing 3 in total as I've made a vast amount to freeze a few portions).
So 1 fruit, 8 veg.
Don't have room for much else, so hopefully I'll manage to lose weight on this regime.0 -
Avocado, Banana, Sweetcorn, Sweet Potato Mash, Carrots, Broccoli, Spinach, Onion, Peas and Peppers. Some were quite small portions so will say 5 veg and 2 fruit today.Debt Free Stage 1 - Completed 27/08/2020

1:4 today. The 4 under sufferance just now, but a step in the right direction.
I've decided, I need to write down what I am going to eat at the start of the day and stick to it. I got a bit sidetracked today.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

Being slightly pregnant is turning out well for my 5-a-day. Mainly because nuts, plums and grapes seem to be some of the only things I can stomach!
I've had avocado with my scrambled egg on toast (though only managed about 1/4 of an avocado).
I've ate 100g grapes. A large handful of nuts, some dried fruit, and my lunch included spinach (though probably only 1/2 a portion)
I'm not including the apple juice I've had (which is totalling over a litre so far today).
Probably out for dinner later so will try and pick a fairly veg loaded option. Regardless, I'll be hungry again by the time I get home and chomp away on half a cucumber and some hummus which I've been craving all day.0 -
Be careful with the apple juice cyantist - it has a lot of sugar in it and could cause you problems. If you're drinking a lot because you can't stomach water, then drink it very dilute. And talk to your GP/midwife/practice nurse about what you can/can't do in terms of fruit/fruit juice. (I made myself ill drinking too much apple juice and eating too many apples when I first moved here, as there were loads on the tree and I had no money...)
Finished the day with sweetcorn, runner beans, spinach and some onion/celery/tomato in with the partridge I'm using up from the freezer. So 11 today - 1.5 fruit, 9.5 veg. I'm enjoying this0
