True. I remember I once changed my fabric conditioner and couldn't smell it on my clothes at all, but everyone else was walking around asking me why I smelt like furniture polish! I switched to unscented straight away!
    .

My journey into new scents in the fabric conditioner world ended up with everything smelling like bubblegum. It didn't smell like that in the bottle, but yuck - I hate bubblegum anyway!.

I spray it over my clothes and on my feet that's all. Some people need to get a life if they just complain about someone smelling nice. They have moved me away from the 2 women who complained about me anyway so I can still do it where I am now sat

the thing is, to a lot of people it doesn't smell nice at all.

It's like wearing perfume - it often smells much more strongly to other people than it does to the person using it, as they can get desensitised to it, and it's really unpleasant to be assaulted with clouds of somethng smelly.

And as others have explained, many people have sensitivities to heavily perfumed products, and aerosols are not focussed - if you use one you are not just spraying yourself, you are spraying all thiose nearby and leaving a residue in the air.

    It's a really antisocial habit.

a light spritz before you come into work should be ample. Top it up in private, in the loo or in the open air, during a break if you want.

And yes, it could easily be bullying. On your own description, you are deliberately doing something which you know creates an unpleasant working environment for your colleagues, disregarding and minimalising their reasonable requests to adjust your behaviour and acting without consideration for others in a shared space.

I use unscented (as far as possible) powder and vinegar instead of conditioner, works a treat as my laundry smells clean rather than perfumed.

Does it smell like a fish and chip shop that has had the floor mopped? :D

Impulse smells dreadful, really cheap and chemical-like.

Haha.........that reminds me of a friend of mine, who used to smother her ponies in citronella oil and white vinegar to keep the flies at bay. They smelt like a fish and chip shop, and it did seem to be effective in deterring the flies!

Perhaps OP should use that combination; it might smell better than Impulse on sweaty feet!! ;) :rotfl::rotfl:
A cunning plan, Baldrick? Whatever it was, it's got to be better than pretending to be mad; after all, who'd notice another mad person around here?.......Edmund Blackadder.

It's lynx for girls, but some people like it. Last time I acted on it, the action was on the opposite direction, but I'm sure I wasn't the intended beneficiary, so no foul!
