Colleagues saying I am annoying them

All of the above ^^^ and esp post No. 9.
Seriously, someone spraying a deodorant about is not nice... My lady wife does it in the bathroom which is fine. BUT when I am in bed, and she forgets to shut the bedroom door AND the bathroom door, I'm gagging on it. Luckily, this occurs probably no more than once a month, and she doesn't do it on purpose.
It is very anti social and inconsiderate. Do it in the loo. As some have said though, it's not gonna stop you sweating or smelling.
Yup so much this ^^^^
I got fed up of choking myself on spray antipersperent deodorants, i eventually changed to roll on, most of them say 48 hour on the bottle so should see you through a shift easily with no added extras.
No they are not being petty, your being inconsiderate, maybe they have health concerns, its not like they have to tell you their life story.:o,Fully paid up member of the ignore button club.If it walks like a Duck, quacks like a Duck, it's a Duck.0 -
If that's your year of birth you really should be old enough to understand that if people at work are sufficiently annoyed by your behaviour and attitude that they have spoken to their / your boss about it, it's a serious matter and you need to modify your behaviour and attitude!
Plus I agree with all the above, it won't be helping solve your sweating issues, it won't make you smell any sweeter, and it will be making other people ill. It would me.Signature removed for peace of mind0 -

My husband is the same. Sticks in the bathroom now. I use a roll on as I choke on the dryness spray anti-perspirant. It burns.
I can't bear perfume being sprayed, the smell makes me nauseous. I even use air freshener with as little smell as possible.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Yes, this is antisocial - and to be honest, rude if they've asked you to stop and you haven't. I can't use aerosols as they irritate my lungs so would have also asked you to spray outside. I appreciate smelling must make you self conscious but as above there are more effective ways to combat it than spraying Impluse, which won't actually even cover the smell!Proud to be debt free September 2014. :j

Not petty at all, as someone that has nasal allergies, I would come down on you like a ton of bricks if you did that anywhere near me.0

Impulse is not going to stop you sweating/smelling. And that stuff really gets in the back of your throat.
Have you tried a roll on deodorant like Mitchum or seen your gp?0 -
And your boss will have to address your colleagues concerns, which I imagine will mean asking you to go to the ladies in future.0

If you sprayed near me it would be an instant and severe asthma attack...so not only is it not petty but it can also be pretty dangerous too!We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -

OP, you won't want to hear this, but you're very rude. Not only is it impolite to spray in public (presumably a fairly enclosed space as well), but to ignore your colleagues requests to stop is just plain rude! Now you're complaining that they have informed your boss - but why wouldn't they? They made a reasonable request that you have deliberately ignored. I can't breathe properly when someone sprays near me, and if someone sprays near my son, it can trigger an asthma attack.
When you are employed, you have to consider your colleagues. They were considerate towards you (they could have gone straight to your boss), but you are showing no consideration towards them. Quite the contrary - you are deliberately doing something that two people have requested you refrain from doing.
As others have said, Impulse won't stop excessive sweating. It will just mix with the smell of sweat - very unpleasant. Impulse is quite a strong smell anyway, but spraying it several times a day makes an unpleasant atmosphere for others to work in. Ask your pharmacist to recommend an anti-perspirant (I use Mitchum). It should easily last a full time shift, plus travel time. If you do want to reapply, it can be done discreetly in the ladies' toilets.
A small change on your part can make a big difference to everyone. People are more likely to be sympathetic if you don't ignore their (very reasonable) requests.0
