You won't smell nice OP, I can promise you that.

Layering Impulse on top of clothes and sweaty feet is awful.

And how embarrassing, to be moved because you have anti-social habits.

    Surely you'd rather think again?

I predict that give it another couple of weeks and the boss will have moved their desk into a broom cupboard. I cannot imagine the reek of sweaty feet with Impulse sprayed onto them! The spray is still going to upset your colleagues if you are in the same room. As an asthmatic I have occasionally had to ask people not to spray stuff around me and have found people are always very helpful (and horrified that they nearly gave me an asthma attack). I must have been incredibly lucky not to meet someone like the OP.

Not until the new term starts.

If it was a teen it would either be the stench of Lynx or some horrendous sickly-sweet 'celebrity' perfume! :rotfl:

I strongly suspect this is a wind up, but if not it falls under the 'basic consideration for other people' category.

Some folks just don't get that and think their 'rights' to do as they please trump everything and here that could include major health issues (not to mention the godawful pong :o)

As an aside, is Impulse really still going?

It started when I was a lass, and I'm clocking on a bit now :)

spraying impulse isn't going to stop you sweating.

    Try eating fewer kebabs.

They are indeed, although the teens where I live seem more enamoured with the body sprays from Victoria's Secret.

they have moved me away from the 2 women who complained about me anyway so I can still do it where I am now sat

Presumably they moved you closer to the door....
  • I suspect the OP is not a teen, just a very inconsiderate woman and I am so glad I don't work with her.

I have been using a mix of Sure and Dove anti-perspirants
I guess you've tried the ones you use the night before (after washing, of course) which last 24-48 hours? I find they are really good, although a lot pricier than the 'normal' sticks and roll-ons.

SO glad I am not your manager. I have had to manage this problem in the past, and it was a nightmare, and tbh the person we were having to move was mortified and embarrassed by the issues, while you just don't seem to care.

What we eventually worked out was the our 'problem' was caused by using highly scented detergent and fabric conditioner, and never getting any fresh air on the clothes while they were drying. The chemical pong which resulted, mixed with probably quite normal levels of sweating, made for an intolerable mix which was noticeable throughout quite a large office!

We were quite happy to allow our colleague to 'freshen up' during her breaks, but spraying or even using wet wipes in the office was not thought a suitable solution.
