My friend used to do exactly that - lock away treats in an old ammo box!   I used to hide choccy treats , but i suppose more everyday items like peanut butter and cake ingredients should be able to be left in the cupboards ...

I went out for a walk to the shops earlier, have put 2 loads of laundry on the line, am de-skanking DS1s  H&S disaster bed sheets in the machine for the next 2 hours, and have the queen's horsey  party on the tv on silent with Radio X on instead - who even knew they marched in time to Alanis Morissette's Jagged Little Pill?

Yay, a fellow Radio X listener (which is largely like Radio 1 in the 90s only without John Peel and more Liam G -who'd have thought that were possible).

Good luck with the sheets, i have some Hazmat suits i could've sent you for handling.

We took a walk up to see the flyover go, well, over, earlier. Not as impressive as some we've seen going over us but can't complain.

I could only get 5 stations on my car radio in Manchester, and XFM was one of them.  Me and Clint Boon shared a great Saturday night when I was in labour with DS3 (not in the car, in the hospital room) 

DH was at home with DS1 & 2 and the chicken pox virus - I definitely had the better gig.

I think i still have the XFM badge which were being handed out at Reading Festival when the station was about to launch. I must admit I do like listening to Chris M and Johnny V in rose tinted retro specs. 'Gawjus George Godfrey' usually has a good playlist too.  Although I do chuckle at how the station were rather unfavorable to The Enemy in the 00s and now they've reformed, were signing their praises 🙄 

I hope DS3 is displaying suitably good music taste having entered the world to Clint.

Oh dear, I seem to have shot myself in the face in a stupendous act of sabotage.

I have used up all but a handful of the pecans (probably a normal sized pack of pecans for a normal person) in a chocolate pecan loaf cake, I also made a coconut bundt and a spiced fruit loaf cake.  Then DH decided he wanted to make scones.  So we now have a ridiculous amount of scrummy cake for all occasions.  Well that will teach them to eat my cooking ingredients won't it???   Tomorrow I will make a soda bread and a fruited soda bread. 

I might have to take us out on a day trip somewhere.  It will not be safe in the freezer. They can work the microwave :'(

So I brought in the laundry, put out the laundry, and have tidied my bedroom and zapped some books they would not take a fortnight ago - well they will take £6 worth of them now, but I am going to leave it another week before zapping them again (and the new books I have acquired) as some of them were only 8p and that rankles.

Off for a cup of tea and a re-read of a book series.  I have made more money on p/a today than I spent on rolls and burgers this morning and I still have the burgers.....so I have more money than I started with, plus burgers, and cakes.
