I have survived, I have earned £40 profit (after £50 kids' bus passes and £20 work wardrobe) and  from tomorrow, it is all profit mwah ha ha ha ha!  Lovely people, happy students and parents, lots of smiles. Should work out to be £110 a day.

already??  my OH was a teacher - she has stories.  I have yet to decide if the students were the worst behaved or her colleagues

Common sense seems to be rationed, and only available to a very small minority.

I'd just be grateful for people with a sense of right & wrong.  Just because so many don't believe in God these days (I don't & never did) it doesn't mean you don't know what is right & what is not.  I have always believed in the simple "hurt nobody".  It seems to cover all the bases & more than the 10 commandments do actually.  Although common sense probably follows on from that, maybe that is why it seems to be rationed.

Well!  Out of the couple of hundred people I have met and sold things to over the last 4 days, only two have been positively odious.  One to me ( tbh his daughter was horrid too) and one to another colleague.  I assume they are just bullies in their own lives, and want to get something for nothing - it must work for them sometimes - but it was nice for the whole team to back us up, stick together, and be firm with them.  

They want me to work for them again next time they are in town, which is nice.

My house is a mess, but dh has done the laundry, and the poor dryer does not know what is going on - he has used it for everything! so I now have a pile of clean laundry piled up in the kitchen that I will sort on Sunday  morning. The kids were at school on the bus on time every day.  DH has kept them fed, and they are happy.  I have barely seen them. They are alive.  I will see them on Sunday.

Tomorrow is the last day. My feet are sore, I have hit my target 10k steps every day, and over 13k most of them, but I am now tired and going to bed.  I have used up some 'kettle food' that the kids don't like -  a lemon tea drink, some hot choc powder, and some cup soups so I have not spent any money whilst at work on anything at all.
