Agree with this, although I also hope in-laws don't get it cos it'll mean you have THEM back... and no doubt they'll also want waiting on, whilst also blaming you for them getting it!  (hugs)

It took exactly 2 weeks from the first positive in this house (me 2 weeks and 1 day ago( to the 5th positive (DD yesterday)  and that's with people isolating in rooms, sanitising, wearing masks and gloves in the kitchen. Almost inevitable, sadly

Sorry to hear about your family becoming infected, fingers crossed everyone recovers quickly and have no ongoing complications..
At least the silver lining is the in-laws have departed, fingers crossed they don't become infected and return to recuperate 🤞

It is all remarkably relaxed now the in-laws have fled.  DH has moved to the top floor vacated bedroom, and he and DS4 can chat on their landing and watch tv together.  DS2 is in his room. 

There is quite a bit of coughing going on, but nothing that is stopping them from eating and drinking and they are all in quite good sorts really.

Me and DS3 are going to make scones and watch bake off tonight.  I am going to make DS3 help with the cooking.  Nobody is going to be able to go to school on Monday, so I am just going to pretend it is a 2 week holiday, test myself twice a day, and make really good use of the pantry. 

Cinnamon Apple sponge and custard will go up via room service in half an hour.

Much weirdness going on over here.  Tested negative 3 x yesterday - 10am, 2pm, 7pm, and tested positive at midnight while in the bathroom anyway and figured I might test again just in case, so went to sleep, got up 8am tested negative, 10am tested negative again.  PCR was booked in for me and DS3 yesterday  after T&Trace sent dh a text for each member of the household to isolate( or be faced with a jail sentence) for the next 7 days and to book a PCR test  but ds3 does not need to isolate as he is under 16 (????).  Every single name was spelled wrong - even the easy ones!- and they were all sent to DH, and according to govt guidelines if I have been vaccinated I should not have to isolate unless I test positive. 

Anyway, we are all home and staying home. 

After star jumping down the road to the post box to post DH and DS2s PCR test (1 hour before getting the STAY HOME!! text) I decided to get bread and potatoes from the shop - good job too. Only have 4 litres of soy milk left and that is not going to last til Sunday, so will have to start rationing.   Basically we are in the house until November.  End of.  Apart from being allowed to walk to the postbox to post the PCR tests - you are allowed to do that.

Lunch is tomato and red pepper soup with garlic bread, or bendy veg + pulses soup and garlic bread.

Supper tonight? - who knows! I am cooking as I am still testing negative, if we all test positive then cooking can be shared again.

Will see how long I can go without having to put in a supermarket order - the kids will not drink soy milk that is not from  Lidlee or Alidi.  So a T0sc0 or M0rr1es order is going to cause strife. First World problems eh?
