    What the hell is wrong with the world?!:confused:

    DD1 did cooking at school and had to make 'spotted Richard' cause 'spotted !!!!!!' was offensive!!
    She then goes to college to study childcare & education and has to make a nursery rhyme book, but it MUST not contain anything racially offensive i.e Baa Baa Black Sheep!!

    My OH has epilepsy, but no longer has 'fits', he has 'seizures' because 'fits' could be offensive to those with epilepsy!! !!!!!!:confused:

    I am no longer OH's 'carer', I am his 'care provider' because of PC!!

    Now it turns out that I am no longer allowed to be classed as 'mad', 'bonkers' or a 'launatic' in case it offends any 'mad, 'bonkers' or 'launatics' out there:mad:

    I have suffered from PND,PMT and Depression, am I mad? Yep Hopping mad!

    I have a friend who suffers from Bi-polar to the degree that she has been commited in the past, has had electo-therapy and is on major drugs. She calls people 'mad' or 'totally nuts' for various reasons, but never offensively.

    I think its PC gone [STRIKE]mad, crazy, bonkers[/STRIKE] errr Silly?? I have had severe PND and don't think the words should offend, as people with MH issues want their condition to be taken seriously and given its proper name. In a way by using these words in a jokey manner could we be removing them from the MH arena and allowing correct names to take their place?? (that a bit deep for me! :eek: )
