I paid for something on ebay cash on collection it was £29.99 i gave the person £30 and said i am not worried about the penny change and was told you would be amazed how many people would be.0

Use 2nd class postage and a recycled jiffy bag which will save you more than 5pDoing voluntary work overseas for as long as it takes .......
My DD might make the odd post for me0 -

It might depend on how nice you are as a person? I've let people off and been let off myself.
Someone bought something off me on Ebay and collected it from my brother whilst I was at work. When he gave me the money, they'd left me an extra £2 as they were so pleased with the item. I've done the same when I've bought stuff and collected so I guess it's just swings and roundabouts...:rolleyes:0 -
I would really let it go - it may have been a genuine mistake...if they really wanted to wind you up then they did not need to to email you and tell you they had made a mistake. It seems ludicrous for them to pay for a stamp to send the extra 5p. 5p is such a meagre sum of money - it really is not worth getting yourself so worked up over it!I have had brain surgery - sorry if I am a little confused sometimes0

ask for a BACS transfer of 5p saves the postage if it means that much to you, otherwise i would say just let it go.0

Yeah, if I collect, I give extra for saying thanks as well. Never been in a shop which lets you off money (that i've seen or been in at least), i've had to put a few pence on my card before.Inside me lives a skinny woman crying to get out - but I can usually shut her up with cake!0 -

Its good business to let people off with a few odd pence.
Still prepared to have a whip round for the 5p.0 -
