Unless the OP informs the buyer that the payment is unacceptable then that would be a really low thing to do.

Talking about being picky, the word is "bought" not "brought". I thought I'd buy that your attention.
    Happy chappy
  • Just take a week to post it, like they did with payment. childish i know but so what. make sure u send it second class too
  • Just send it 2nd class, That way your save the 5p plus more.
  • They sound the sort who "don't" receive it.

Use a second hand jiffy bag to save 5p

  • Seriously, let it go...
  • It could be a genuine mistake, and you'd probably just let it go without a second thought if they'd paid promptly in the first place.
I know it's the principle you're concerned about rather than the amount, but it would seem a bit mean and petty to ask them to pay the 5p owed. A better approach imo would be to economise on packaging (e.g. used Jiffy bag rather than a brand new one), or if the p&p price was for 1st class, downgrade to 2nd. The buyer probably won't even notice if you do, but if you want them to be aware that you're making a point, you could enclose a cheque for the difference between the 5p and postal downgrade.
  • Just post it out! 5p short of course!
  • Send the CD. Attach an invoice for £0.05 outstanding debt. Both sides have a laugh and you move on.
They say you can't put a value on life... but I live it at half price!
  • Dont even give it a seconds thought.

What would you do with that 5p that is going to make such a difference to your life. Go for a walk today, keep your eyes to the ground, and I bet you can find 5p on the floor!

Hey, if it is really that important, pm me, and I will send you 5p in the post, I might even make your day and send you 10p!!
