Parkrun volunteering done, hopefully next time I will get a role that means I can talk to a few more.

Baking cupboards sorted and also walk in kitchen cupboard. A few more cupboards left to arrange but the bad ones have now been tackled.

Walk whatever the weather...we started with a chink of sun and ended in the rain!

I haven't got as far as the $ky account but we have started sorting a few things in the living room that annoy me so I can live with that.

And...I have spent none of my own money today

Struggling to come up with today's goals, I think ironing and leaving the house tidy (organised in the areas I have already tackled) as I need to head back to work tonight, anything else will be a bonus.

£50 y0ug0v money appeared in my account this morning so that has been put straight into my ISA. I still have £250 in my account, with pay day in a week's time I should be able to move a good chunk into my ISA at the end of next week :D

Unsure what today's jobs are going to be but I think they will be
    Food shopping
Register so I can book local gym classes online
Take 3 items to charity shop
Put down temporary bed and wash bedding
    Ironing
If I get all this done this morning I may look at finishing making some cushion covers that I started nearly a year ago

I didn't quite manage everything yesterday and so far today have been hit by a terrible headache so have been unable to do anything so far. Today is meant to be better weather wise so hopefully will get some air soon, my planned list will be for the weekend instead of just today.

Register so I can book local gym classes online
Take 3 items to charity shop
Make at least 1 cushion cover (tomorrow during rubbish weather)
    Put suitcases away
    Leave spare rooms tidy
Mow lawn - headache dependant as I would like to rake well and put grass seed down before the season is against us

Excited, I have booked myself on a one day thai cookery course next Saturday. It may not be the cheapest thing ever but I LOVE thai food and enjoy cooking and am looking forward to learning how to do more. I am keen do some of their other courses too, maybe one every couple of months. It would be good to do both of their longer evening courses but I can't guarantee having every Tuesday off.

Who knows I may make some friends this way too (that sounds so feeble and stupid!)

I am now home permanently (or as permanent as it can be) and today is my first full day back. I don't start in my new post until Tuesday which is giving me plenty of time to try and get everything in order although so far it has been mundane shopping and washing. I need to tackle one of the spare rooms which has my bedding in from the other place plus other things that should have been tidied and organised ages ago.
I am going to try and work a cash system through September for my personal spends so I can keep track of where I am spending.

Project meet some people in my local area is about to take off. Tonight I have booked and paid for a kettlebells class (so I can't wimp out and change my mind), have my day thai cookery course tomorrow and am going along for a trial swimming session with a local triathlon club on Monday night. The downside is these things cost money but I don't spend very much when I am at home and it is essential for meeting others and hopefully good for my waist line too.

Today is my last day off before I start at my new place of work tomorrow and I am trying to use it wisely. I have a few little things that I have been meaning to do for a while but haven't got around to yet so they are top of my list.

Friday's kettlebell class was fun but my arms are getting more sore by the day  so why am I debating going to another tomorrow...

The thai cookery course was brilliant but very tiring, I was so tired by the end of the day I didn't want to eat any of the food I had cooked. We are eating the last of it for dinner tonight :D

Tonight is my trial swim session, I wish my arms weren't sore but it should ease them. I have never been for a formal swimming lesson in my life (I wasn't a great swimmer at school so wasn't pushed) so am a little nervous, especially after they sent a message about floats yesterday but I just need to remember it is all about baby steps. If I could do it all I wouldn't be going for lessons!

Moneywise...erm, I have loads of change to count and bank if I have enough.

"fix the problem instead of managing the symptoms"

After a few wrong turns while seeking help I started some sessions today to truly work towards achieving this. It may take a while and unsure where I may be at the end of it but it should help.

    Hi ajmoney,

I am so impressed with your amazing savings! Not too much to go now!

Sorry you are struggling with anxiety/stress/panic, they all sit together in a group and are particularly good at what they do! Glad you have reached out, I think that once you can understand what the symptoms mean it makes it easier to challenge the way you think and what you do (the CBT type model!)!

    Best of luck,
