I love sudoku. And Killer. I used to print from this link, where there are daily and weekly puzzles and you can print them - all free. I tend to restrict myself to the newspaper ones on my tablet now. Printing to avoid electronic screens is good

A long weekend, the kind of things that fills me with absolute dread.  I have a slight plan for tomorrow with ex coming for dinner, other than that nothing.  Back to list making as I suspect if I don't have something to follow I will do nothing at all which will make it all seem so much worse.
My meal planning/shopping has definitely fallen down meaning I need to hit the supermarket today unless I have something on toast for my lunch.  I don't fancy doing a Saturday shop but maybe if I go this morning it won't be so bad.

Does anyone have a link to a networth calculator?  I was using one last year that I could put my data into but I appear to have tidied it into the recycling bin and deleted it from my laptop and I don't remember there I got it from!

Such a lazy day, I did some psychology work first thing but since then I have mostly listened to music whilst doing sudoku puzzles.  I might do a bit more psychology this evening as I would like to get ahead a little more.
I know a lot of people get excited about the changes in lockdown, TBH they get me down a bit as they don't really make much of a difference to what I can do.  I definitely feel like I am stuck in a bit of a rut but it is tough when restrictions make things so difficult.  I would like to be surrounded by some inspirational people or the type of person I normally am as I think it would help but I am not sure how to go about that.  The only place in my life I have this is on here which is great but I guess what I am after is relationships in real life.  I feel it is too easy otherwise to keep bumbling along not achieving much or doing the things I long to do.  For now I am keeping on reading inspirational and thought provoking books as I am not sure how I would do this.

Exciting times and hard to believe I have had quite a change in the last 48 hours, I would love to think it will last but unlikely.
After feeling I was lacking something on Monday and desperate to find some inspiration in my life this was turned on its head yesterday.  I really enjoyed my work, for the first time in over a year I felt I was used to my full potential and in an area I excel.  I was really proud of everything we achieved and even when something went a little wrong I took ownership for it and am proud of how I dealt with things.  I felt inspired and was shocked to realise it was me inspiring myself.  As of last night I have added an extra daily question in my journal, my word of the day which was PROUD.
This morning I opened an email with feedback from last week's course, I have passed two modules and needed to add a little bit to one question in the first module which I did straight away before I left for work.  I have been checking my emails hourly but they haven't replied yet :D Today I feel inspired and I suspect that will be my word when I fill my journal later.  I am on the verge of being able to apply for a course that means a lot to me.  I was asked about contributing something at work this morning which utilises more of my skills in an area I am extremely passionate about.
I still haven't really done much towards my decorating but I want to be proud of where I live and the only way to do that is to stop procrastinating.  I am hoping this inspiration will power me through to doing this as I deserve to live somewhere that I am really happy with.  Watch this space...

@ajmoney - re. net worth - I just use a hokey spreadsheet (pensions + ISAs + cash - mortgage - credit card balances). I multiply DB pensions and state pension forecast by 25 to calculate their relative worth to me (might help you as I think you're a public sector worker)?

I have been looking at online content to help with my psychology work this evening.  I am enjoying studying and learning but reading isn't enough for me and after so much online learning for students over the last year I figured there had to be something out there to help me.  I have found someone who covers the specification for the exam board I am studying through, I haven't watch the videos yet but am hoping it will be a start and may lead to me finding other things to watch.

I certainly seem to have a barrier to all the psychology info going into my brain, I want to learn and understand so that can't be it.  Most of the time while I am reading I feel like I am being bombarded with text that I will never remember so maybe I need to approach it differently.  Oh the irony of studying the mind and how it works while not being able to understand or take in a thing I read :D

Regular study plus moving onto a topic that is making more sense seems to be helping with my psychology work.  I am about to read two rather large case studies though so this optimism might not stay :D

We found out a couple of days ago that we are getting a pay rise this month, not an annual one but one to bring us inline with some similar jobs to ours which is likely to see a monthly increase of around £120-130.  I was contemplating putting it into a personal pension to help fund me later in life but today I have had different thoughts.  I still have a lot of decorating I would like to do in the house so it makes sense to consider putting it aside for that.  I am always a little reluctant to spend on me or the house even though I have a nice amount of money to support me if anything should go wrong, maybe this will give me the confidence to do that.

I found out a few days ago that I have passed all modules of the course I did a few weeks ago and today the certificate came through so I have just applied for the next one.  I am not sure if I have any follow up work to do afterwards but it finishes 3 weeks today so hopefully not long after that I will be a fully qualified mental health first aid instructor.

My energy levels are fairly low at the moment so I am not doing much around work, hopefully they will pick up soon but if there isn't much change by Monday I will give the doctors a call and see if they can offer any advice.  I will have been taking iron tablets for just over 2 weeks by then and was hoping I might see a bit of an improvement already.

I can't really be bothered to do very much so off to put a few things away and then do some psychology revision.
