Hmm, it may have happened before but I don't remember, I think I have just been asked my someone in my family what I want; I am unsure how to answer.  I have always kept quiet and done whatever anyone else wants because that is just how it has always been.  Something happened today and I really felt I couldn't go against my gut reaction of what I wanted but how I put it was a huge dilemma, I wasn't wholly honest but said enough.  I have now been asked what I want and I don't know how to answer as I have never had the option before.  Bizarrely I feel I am in a hole where the only thing I can do is answer with honesty but I don't know how to do that.  I haven't replied yet because I don't know what to put.  I typed something on here a while ago but deleted it in case anyone saw it even though I don't think I actually know anyone on here, I will be purging all my thoughts in my journal tonight.

I appear to be getting nowhere fast with my micro teach prep, it is stupid really as the whole point is for them to see me present more than the content.  I just need to make sure I achieve my aim and objectives, I am putting this here as a reminder!!!!!

@Suffolk_lass thanks.  I am more than happy presenting, it is putting the stuff together that is taking the time!  We have been given our topics and the course text to produce it so I shouldn't have any problems, I think I am so used to doing them and being graded that I am struggling to move away from it being perfect.  I know what I need to do so just need to give myself a big kick.

Chatting with the girls online at 8 so that is my deadline to get everything into my presentation and have a quick talk over to see how long it takes.  It gives me tomorrow morning to tweak anything before meeting a friend for lunch and plenty of time to practice it.

I am now a fully qualified Mental Health First Aid Instructor :) It has been an emotionally and mentally draining week and has left me a little low and anxious as I wasn't really expecting different things to resonate to deeply with me.  I have decided to spend the weekend delving into this a little to try and get down on paper what I feel the triggers have been and what is now getting me down as I don't like the feelings that are starting to resurface.
For the last 5 years I have thought about setting up a blog, initially to document an exercise journey I was on but this year more as an outlet for my mental wellbeing.  This week has led to me wanting to do this even more so I am actively looking at how I do this today.  I don't know if I want it as a facebook page or an actually blog website so I am going to research this, it is to be cathartic for me so if no one ever reads it I don't mind.

I need to put something down somewhere and here seems the best place.  My absolute passion for mental health, speaking out about stigmas and raw honesty seems to be starting a bit of a revolution among my fb friends today.  Since I started my course last week I have been sharing how I have found it, the high and low points and now with it being mental health awareness week I am putting up daily posts of my own as well as sharing anything relevant.  I have had private messages of thanks and this evening friends have started putting their own experiences up.  It is absolutely incredible and I am so proud.  I speak out even when I know my family are reading and might take it badly in the hope it might just help one other person so this is great.
    Well done. It takes courage
