Sounds like you're back on track and being productive - more productive than me anyway. I always find it interesting reading what you're doing and reading and it inspires me to look up different books and people.
Hope you're feeling a lot better now

Not so much unfortunately, I am still suffering with low energy levels and sometimes get dizzy/lightheaded.  I had a telephone doctors appointment on Friday and am going in for some blood tests tomorrow to see if they can find out what is going on.  It is hard to believe that 3 months I was walking 10 miles a day and now I struggle with 3.  I had wondered if I was doing too much and running myself down but whatever it is, it is stopping the way of life I like and I am not willing to settle for that.  They are running a full set of tests although anaemia is high on their list.
I had my first vaccine on Friday. I am still not sure why I had mine quite so early, it is through work but no one older than me has been offered theirs, just me and one other.
I went for a swim this morning with a friend and am now trying to decide what to do this afternoon.  I have some gardening jobs that don't require high energy levels so I might do a couple of them with plenty of rest in between

Bloods taken this morning, the doctor also asked for my blood pressure to be taken sitting and standing.  Only 10 days to wait and find out what is going on.  I am completely wiped out today so haven't done very much at all.

I am trying to have a go at planning the planting in my garden, does anyone know of any reliable websites for a gardening calendar or would a general Scotland one be ok?  Once I have worked out the bulbs etc I might try and be brave and look at food growing.  It is silly really but I keep putting it off in case I get it wrong!

If you register for "my garden" on the RHS site and record the plants you have already (and those you would like) it will prompt you by email with the jobs to do each month. I don't know if there is a Scotland setting but you don't have to be a member to use this function. I am a member and use the site for care, pruning and problems advice, as well as stockists. I don't always buy from them but they are good and reliable - excellent for specialists if you want something a bit unusual. I also take part in a gardening advice FB page but at this time of year there are lots of people asking silly questions where they have not even tried to look things up for themselves first. Later in the year some of the pro gardeners offer good information insights and advice.

I also like the little thumbnail descriptions Sarah Raven's site provide. They are quite pricey but good quality. And some of the seed or plant providers are good (combined with a few you-tube clips when I am trying to sort a particular thing).

Thought I would check in, still ticking along and trying to focus on a bit of planning as I have a long 3 days ahead with an online training course.  I am trying to do easy meals that won't take long and would like to maximise my time afterwards so I don't feel I am just inside all the time, it is definitely a bonus with the clocks changing this weekend.
I am still finding meal planning a bit of a chore.  I have been trying to eat more chicken and fish but my meals seem to be getting a little repetitive so I will try and come up with something for this week.
The weather doesn't look all that great today so I might try and find some enthusiasm to strip some wallpaper, maybe an hour and then treat myself to watch the opening grand prix.

I have been a little forward this evening. I started my education and training course today and last night looked on the training providers website to check I hadn't missed anything before the course started. When I looked at the opening page I found the advertised cost of the course has dropped by £84 (24% lower than I paid)! I have emailed them to ask if there is any possibility of getting some of the difference reimbursed. They will probably say no but I won't get anything if I don't ask.

It turns out they have brought out another course which is purely self taught and that is the one I saw as they are no longer offering the course I am currently doing.  At least I asked.

I have just finished three very long days in front of the laptop for my education and training course. I have just emailed off my assessment/feedback from the practical element today and now I just need to complete 3 assignments which I intend to finish this week before I forget what I have learned.  Apparently the work is normally marked and returned within 5 days so I may be able to apply for my next course in a couple of weeks which is really exciting.
I am going to turn all screens off now and do some sudoku to give my mind a rest from all the tech.  Unfortunately after so long out of my work environment I have a lot to catch up on tomorrow so it will be an early start.  Tomorrow is also the day the doctor is meant to be calling to talk to me about my blood test results.
