Yeah I'm going to give you my bank account number and everything.0 -
So, in summary, Rugged does appear to be more interested in slogans. No answers to the pretty straightforward questions he has been asked.....
Does he consider Corbyn to be wealthy? No answer (presumably Rugged can't bring himself to say that the Leader of the Labour Party that he idolises so much is wealthy.)
How much more tax should Corbyn pay - bands, thresholds etc? No answer. (Presumably his answer is the 'whatever Jeremy says, I'll agree with', but them again we know Rugged's approach to those who disagree with Jeremy.)
Do you think Jeremy is privileged, Rugged?
And - the ever popular request - where are the top 50 target seats that Rugged thinks Labour will win to give them a chance of forming a government? Nope, not getting close to answers on that either. (However as Rugged clearly isn't interested in the Labour Party forming a government, maybe that's an unfair question )
Any views on yesterdays comedy gold, Rugged? You know, Corbyn's sexist views on the 'after work pint' issue? Is it something you supported before he mentioned it? Corbyn is clearly quite well along the line if micro-managing human behaviour with that one..... how long will it be before he comes up with a list of acceptable haircuts for us like the other Dear Leader?

No no no, lets BOTH decide to give the winnings to a charity of our choice, whoever wins. Mine will be macmillan cancer. If i win I will pay them
And then whoever wins can take a screenshot of their 'winnings' being sent to the charity.
So, as much as you like at 4/1. On Corbyn to be prime minister at any time until after the next general election.
How's that sound comrade?0 -

I work in public services, (crime), (Ministry of Justice) and have experienced various tory and Labour Govmts. The govmt that invested most was Blair's but this is the interesting point .....the govmt that always held us most to account was also Blairs. He put the money in but also was always on our backs by way of targets etc. The tories have fluctuated between hard nosed idiots like Chris Grayling, (who spent huge amounts of public cash selling off chunks of our work to the private sector and then having to row back and employ sessional staff at higher rates) and well meaning liberals like Kenneth Clarke.
Not lies mate ....first hand experience!
Also remember despite your continual gloating on here about Labour, things change quicky and Labour under our system, (first past the post) is likely to be the beneficiary;)0 -
We are all different. Life is often a lottery. Not everyone comes from good homes, has supportive parents and good health. To me Socialism is about being fair and compassionate. Yes , there are some people in some communities who could look after themselves better, train to get a better job etc, but sometimes, the very community they are living in, doesn't always help. That's why they often need support to get a decent living standard and get on. You would need to go to some disadvantaged areas and live there to see what it is like. Add ill health to the mix, and you start to see greater problems. Sadly over the years, there have been people who know how to work the benefits system. This has resulted in the very people who need it, also being penalized. We all have to take responsibility for ourselves, but like that saying 'we are all born equal, but some more equal than others', there will always be those less fortunate than others. But that doesn't mean everyone shouldn't have a chance. Everyone should be able to contribute in some way to society, but there will always be those with chronical illness who can't. We can't just turn our head and say we can't help you. We are one race on this planet, yet if an alien landed , he'd never think that. We all have to start thinking how we can help each other in small ways. If I can help someone, because I have something, be it money, education or compassion, then I think that is what we should be doing. It would probably bring about greater good than any government. If others don't agree, well, we all create our own world....0

I'm sure most people would agree with you. However, when you get to the Government's input, it's the details of how to do it where we can differ.(AKA HRH_MUngo)

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton0 -

Farage has moved on in case you missed the news. That's the inherent danger when you get stuck in a rut rather than move with the times.0 -
