I read Tony Blair is coming back to save the day.

Thoughts?
He'd need to be selected as candidate first. The left don't want him, and the centre-left know the Iraq issue is toxic. Mind you, it wouldn't be any more ridiculous than his Middle East Peace Envoy appointment."Real knowledge is to know the extent of one's ignorance" - Confucius0 -
Tony Blair come back - sadly too much baggage.Turn your face to the sun and the shadows fall behind you.0

And he is already 63 - so time isn't on his side. The left don't want him, and the centre-left know the Iraq issue is toxic. Mind you, it wouldn't be any more ridiculous than his Middle East Peace Envoy appointment.

Tories now on 47% to Labour's 29%.
http://ukpollingreport.co.uk/
A monstrous 18-point lead that is "the highest they’ve managed in any poll since 2009, and the highest lead for a party in government since 2002. "
I read toastie's wibble in the OPFinally he appeared! The room erupted as he walked down the centre aisle. People were leaning out trying to touch him, people were standing on chairs trying to get a shot with their cameraphones, everyone was applauding and whooping.
Even more hilarious is that among Labour Party members, 54% are satisfied with how Khorbiyn is doing his job versus 32% who are not. Among normal people back on planet Earth, however, these numbers are almost exactly reversed: 55% are dissatisfied with how Khorbiyn is doing his job and 31% are satisfied. Quite a lot of the 31% must include people who, like me, are satisfied with how badly he is doing his job, because we want his nasty, sexist, anti-Semitic party of envy monkeys to be permanently buried. So in all likelihood, he is held in even lower regard than polls indicate.
This level of abject failure is considered a magnificent performance by Labour, which shows perfectly what a lot of whack jobs they all are.0 -

Looks like they have won UKIP votes - 6% is a low figure for them.
29% is actually quite high for Labour - recently 26% has been quite normal.0
