It's also rude to start multiple threads on the same subject.0 -

Oh i know the answer trust me.......Not all pregnancies are planned. She is pregnant how/why/when/whatever is completely irrelevant to the question being asked.
If you say so. Anyway i'm out.0 -
Does your GP actually have evidence that you are pregnant - did you provide a specimen for them to confirm, or are you going by your own shop-bought pregnancy test?
Four weeks is incredibly early, you've only missed one period at that point. Most people don't share the news until 12 weeks, because life is so fragile at the early stages, I'm sorry to say.
The GP would not be able to confirm your due date, only that you are pregnant and state what you believe to be your due date based on your last period. Due dates are estimated at the 12 week scan and then firmed up at the 20 week scan, when professionals take measurements of the foetus. Official notification is given in the form of a MATB1 certificate from the midwife, and I gather that is now given around 22-24 weeks.
Hope the above helps.:heartpuls Mrs Marleyboy :heartpuls

It's not really. This is the second pregnancy of a 17 year old with health and housing issues. She shouldn't be bringing children into the world until she has her own life sorted out.0 -
No, GP hasn't taken a sample and I don't see why he would given they go by home pregnancy results now, as they are just as reliable.
I haven't shared my news with anyone else, apart from the housing/GP as I was directly asked.
Reasoning for pregnancy hasn't got anything to do with anyone on this thread, I'm sorry, why would it?0 -

I'm just making the point that the GP has no evidence - and you could be lying about your pregnancy, thinking that to be pregnant would carry more weight with the council for being re-homed. I'd be very surprised if the Council didn't respond with suspicion ...:heartpuls Mrs Marleyboy :heartpuls

As a parent with biological children, in my experience a GP always takes a urine sample to confirm pregnancy. Did you get all your information books etc?0
