Thanks Huggle.
Hubby is suffering at the moment, just hope that it eases for him soon.
Got most of DD's bits, just a couple more to get today.0 -

Good morning
Payments I made to the BC yesterday have shown up, so that's good. BC now £9118.84
Off to Toys r us with DS today so he can get his sister a present courtesy of the bank of mum & dad lol
Had a pint in the pub with DH yesterday & we had a long chat about where we are financially. Good news is that DH's team have just won loads of work so he can expect some commission to come trough over the next 6 months.
I have told him that as well as building the savings up, I want to plough money in to the BC to get rid of it.
Hopefully we can get this debt sorted and ourselves too0 -
Do you have a Toys R Us loyalty card? Quite good for money off coupons several times per year if you get one.
Glad you had time to sit down with your husband over a pint. Having time to strategise is so important isnt it. I find I make much better decisions when we've talked things over." Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

Busy day yesterday DD is now birthday-fied.
DH took the kids out this morning so I could wrap pressies, all that's left is for DS to write his card and tags out and for DH to sort my old phone out for DD.
DS asked me if DD is getting her phone at Christmas, I said no, as she's getting my old phone and her sim is for her birthday. Don't think DS was too happy but he's had four phones in a year & a half, two of which were new, the latest new one was for his birthday which he's broken but it's still useable.
Any how, dinner is sorted and cooking slowly in the oven, so I'm looking forward to that later...boeuf burginon, mash & peas.
Money wise, nothing has sold, if the clothes don't go this week they can go to the charity shop and I'll put some of mine up.
Aiming for a LSW with a few NSD's thrown in to the mix.
Did food shop, so that'll be delivered next Saturday. DH said about weekly shopping instead, I said no as we overspend when we do that. Need to do September menu list now.
Pay day on Friday, looking forward to that, can make a payment to the BC and see the balance come down a bit more :T
Worked out with DH that we can save some money on the parking front for the end of this month, we only need about four days so don't need to pay for a whole week.
So far so good!0 -
Hi pmo2 just read your diary and I can relate. Was DF, now we're not
but in a year we've cleared over 60% and had a bit more than you to start with. We have also saved (well spent lots) as we are doing lots of stuff in the house. Keep plodding. One things that stuck out was that your BC is not on 0% - it is possible to switch then at least you know all you are throwing at it is coming off the capital - those pesky £1 from fleabay soon add up then - just a thought.
I'm off to subscribe0 -
Afternoon,
Sold something on Amazon overnight, posted it at lunchtime...total on there now up to £7.34 with a view to being paid in to my account on Friday, this can go off the BC.
A lovely lady bought four items from me on Ebay, which has resulted on a £11 profit, I'll leave it a few weeks and then I'll pay that into my account and that too can go off the BC.
PurpleFairy - Love that name BTW. We have a good rappor with BC so don't ideally want to move from them, however, I do keep looking to see if they've any deals on, nothing so far.
ETA: Transferred the £7.34 over and updated my signature accordingly. We will be back in the £8K for a little while once the monthly payment has been made0 -
I'm never able to wait to make the money culminate - i always withdraw it and pay it off - I can't resist  I understand what you mean about BC and I don't know what your APR is but have a look at how much interest your paying, that would come right off the capital at 0% I'm never sure companies give you any sort of good deal when you have a decent size debt with them as its not in their interest0
