  • Quick update.

House tidyish so not doing any more today.

Did a quick count up and we have £76 in 20ps and £96 in £2s I haven't counted the demijohn yet, but that's fairly heavy, plus we have Tesco clubcard vouchers once they come through. Christmas food is sorted.

Okay, that gives me a bit of a breather, I don't need to worry about that :)

Now I need a plan to see us through the rest of this year. 4 months to go. Better get my thinking cap on.

Purple - can you get on the ebay trail at all to help top up your funds? I have done quite well with that lately. Might help towards uniform anyway.

Dont feel bad about the wombling either!

Good thinking Bob, I've found a few other bits that can go, need to go through my wardrobe and finally get rid of stuff that doesn't fit me.

That's what it's called :) I did get them added to my card, will keep an eye out for more. I won't feel bad, if it helps us in the long run.

    Thanks Bob :)

We have a whole thread about wombling going in the debt free challenges area if you need any inspiration. Good luck getting some items up for sale.

  • Morning,

Something else sold on eBay yesterday, so a bit more money to add to the pot.

Got birthday list off DD and did a quick price tally up and what she wants isn't all that expensive, she is after a phone though, so DH managed to get her a sim half price for 6 months with 3 and we are going to reboot my old phone and package it up for her birthday....one happy munchkin I hope.

Aiming for a quiet day today.
  • Evening,

Hope everyone had a great Sunday :) got another week off so mega happy about that.

I have uploaded more bits to eBay, courtesy of DD saying she doesn't fit a few bits, just hope more sell.

I'm going to go through my books and dvds and see what I can put on Amazon, this should generate a few more pennies.

Although I feel tired, I feel a bit more settled than I have done for ages.

    Have a nice night.

Wow amazing how the small change really adds up, great idea about saving Mr T vouchers for Xmas I usually use mine as I get them but I think I will put them aside. I also have a savings tin that I have been putting £1 and £2 coins in, it will be great getting the tin opener out nearer to Xmas.

Good news on the ebay listings and the phone for dd.

    Enjoy your week off!
  • Morning,

Not much to report this end, been a quiet couple of days.

Manage to sell some bits on eBay and have done the deed this morning and uploaded loads to Amazon, just need them to sell now.

    Plodding along as normal.
