OK I am trying to clear the (used) ISO from my desktop (I saved it to the desktop) - when I try, I get "Cannot complete the action, file is being used by System" - I have Checked using Task Man and don't see any mention of the file.... I have checked that I have full permissions on the item - but I still am unable to delete it - I have tried using command prompt and got exactly the same resultNiftyDigits wrote: »
How do I delete the ISO from my desktop ?0 -
A reboot will most likely fix the issue , However it may not - so to be sure to get it the first time , reboot to safe mode and delete it ..
You could mess around and find what has a hook to it but it will be quicker to just do the above0 -

If you missed this for whatever reason, but you do in fact have a valid Windows 10 installation, you can still get the ISOs via here.0 -
Well I didn't get the anniversary update -perhaps its because I am still getting the message that my OS is not supported.
If it is not supported, might as well go back to Win 7, much prefer it although I do find Win 10 and Edge faster to load than when I was on Win 7. Don't like the spying that Win 10 does to be honest.0 -
What spying would that be then?Well I didn't get the anniversary update -perhaps its because I am still getting the message that my OS is not supported.

I don't know which operating system you're going to use to avoid spying.

Why not back up your data to an external hard drive and run a clean install with Redstone media?
Begin with a lean and mean install, instead of an unruly clutter.0
