  • Just a quick one while I'm thinking about it:

I have a huge spot on my chin :( Does anyone have any ideas how I can get it to go down or help it go away? It had the hugest whitehead on it this morning(TMI sorry!) and I popped it as it was so bad I just felt I couldn't go out with it like that and I had to go to work! :(

I'm 31 and still get the occasional spot like this although I did used to have acne :-( after a full fave of spots I don't mind the odd one these days. I still use toothpaste overnight on really nasty spots. It's not attractive but I find it takes the sting out and it goes down in the morning.

Gemzie your employers continue to shock me. Definitely go to Citizen's Advice. They should be able to recommend a solicitor who may be able to offer legal aid. I would also threaten to go to the newspapers. If they do happen to let you go I'd guess you'd have a good case for unfair dismissal and also compensation because they've clearly manipulated the situation to avoid paying redundancy. You'll be able to use this once they've closed the independent housing without getting your colleague into trouble.

My OH was made redundant on Thursday so he's now job hunting and although there are a few options to explore, I can see he's struggling with it. Sone options he'd liked the sound of haven't turned out to be what he thought so I think he's panicking slightly so it's now my turn to be the calm, supportive partner :-)

    UU:
Nivea roll on - love all Nivea roll ons

    IN:
Sure Aloe Vera rI'll on - seems fine so far. Scent is a bit strong though

I'm going to need to go through my hand bags and chuck things as I know I've got loads of lip balms that were spluttering and instead of finishing them , I moved onto something else.

I've decided to repurpose some body lotions on my feet as they're in need of some tlc. I'll have a look tonight to see what I want to start with.

    Hope everyone is well :-)

I like that plan :) I think it's permanent based on the little information published so far, but you never know what UD will do!

    Well done on educating MRM!

I've got a fair bit of UD :o
    - Naked 2 palette
    - Smoked palette (the original discontinued one, not Naked Smokey)
    - Vice4 palette
    - and a set of 15 eye pencils :rotfl: (special anniversary set)

Just realised I got the eyepencils back in 2011! They are still going strong :) I GA the black early, as it smudged too much for me, but I use all the others. I got it on sale though, about £30 - I think it was originally £60, which I wouldn't have paid. Loooooove UD eye makeup :D

The own 6 of their liners and use them all as the colours are really wearable and not funky.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

  • Another UU! Boots Extracts Spiced Apple 50ml

This is my last one of these - I bought several of the small pots rather than one big one as they were on a great offer after Christmas (3 for 2 and reduced to about £1 each). Loved the formula, loved the scent. Would happily repurchase if it ever came back.

So I had a proper look last night, and realised I may have an eyeliner problem :o

I don't think we've had any stash photos for a while, so for my embarrassment, and your amusement, here is my current eyepencil collection!

Can you tell which of the UD I use most :rotfl:

I'm down to 11 UD eyeliners (from original 15), so I have given some away, and I UU'd a Dior black earlier this year - but oh dear... I'm going to have to experiment with all of them, and start cutting down the collection, or actually using them more.

(I have another few non-pencil eyeliners also, all black :o )

UU Sanex AtopiCare hand cream - WNBA. It's not terrible, but it is very thin and watery which is not pleasant.

I may possibly have more than that but they are all travel sizes, rather than full size one's, my current favourite is my vice liner.

By the way did you know that UD lip liners can be used as eye liner and vice versa?

I swear by TCP - I dab it on every spot. It may sting a little and some find the smell quite strong but I like it as it does a good job of drying out the spot. You could also get a spot gel with salicylic acid in it - I have a Newton's one and it seems pretty effective.

    UU
Sure Motion Sense Invisible Pure 48h Anti-Perspirant 150ml - This lasted me since the beginning of the year. I don't often apply deodorant early on in the year unless I'm going to the gym (I don't sweat much and the place where I live isn't too warm). It's summer now so have been applying it daily. It did what it said on the tin as I've had no white marks on work clothes. I got this from a friend and may consider purchasing myself but have brands I prefer. I've moved on to an almost finished roll-on deodorant from the stash.
