No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries August 2016

I am a newbie to this forum and I have set myself a challenge to see if I can go without buying any cosmetics or toiletries until my birthday in November. I have loads of things left to use before buying anything else. I am just buying my mum things as she is in a care home so can't get out herself to buy anythingNo buying unnecessary toiletries challenge started August 20160

2 UUs, 4 INs and a possible trip to the naughty step.
First UUs:-
Liz Earle Superskin eye cream sample sachet. WNBA. Was too thick.
Lush Intergalactic bath bomb. Maybe I'll buy again. Much prefer Yorkshire Soap Co Peppermint Cream bath bomb for fragrance strength and feel on my skin however Lush is more accessible to me than YSC. Their P&p is on a par with QVC.
Speaking of which I have been in a real quandary today. There is a Laura Geller TSV and when I first looked at it online I thought I would only like the blush however now I've seen the presentation I like the look of the blush, lipstick and lipgloss plus I use the BnB (although I won't need another for ages). However I also like the look of the oil blotting powder and know I'll need something like this when I go away. That product is sold as a duo at the mo with a brush and is really good value. That means there will be one each for myself and Emma. I also have a Tarte auto delivery due at the end of this month containing more eyeshadow and I ended up yesterday buying a set of Smashbox lip and cheek crayons from Boots as they were reduced and a bargain. Need to sit on my hands re the TSV don't I?
Finally I have a sample sized Alpha H Liquid Gold. Any advice on how/when to use it would be appreciated.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

I use it a couple of times a week. Splash it on cotton wool, sweep it over your face and leave it overnight to work its magic. According to the instructions you can put moisturiser on over it but it works better without. So I go without. I really like it, I wake up with smooth healthy skin! Not buying unnecessary toiletries 2024 26/53 UU, 25 IN0 -

Thank you.
I have also found that if I go to my local clinique counter the ladies on there give me freebies to try every now and then.No buying unnecessary toiletries challenge started August 20160 -

Welcome to the thread, my go to perfume is ghost eclipse it instantly lifts my mood. I also have the ghost sweetheart and I alternate between them. I do want another perfume but haven't found the right one yet. My goodies from Lovelula came yesterday just waiting for the polish to arrive.:j
GA a boots spf lip balm to my mum it tasted awful even when it was soaked in, really chemically so have replaced it with a natural one.£2 savers club 2025 #2= £480 -

After writing that I had been really good with no buying...., I looked at the TSV this morning. I really want the eye shadows and would be happy with the brushes, the lipstick and the lip gloss look like the colour could be O.K. and it would be nice to have another blusher to play with (only have 1 now), as you know I did not like the B&B, but the medium was too dark for me, also my skin is much more hydrated these days.
My skin is ultra sensitive, so I started using Liquid Gold on a slightly damp pad for a while, not been using it lately as have used either First Aid Beauty acid pads or Pixi Glow tonic and thought that was enough, but I will go back to it at some stage as I seem to have a lot of it.The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. Hi all
I really MUST stop buying nail varnishes LOL. They are my weakness. Those and shower gels. Love my perfumes but I get those for Christmas and birthday.
Love those Boots moisturiser shower gels. I am always looking for deals on them. I usually buy 3 and they last me ages as you don't need a lot to lather up.
This is a great thread and forum. I only originally joined to ask a question then saw this thread and thought I'm staying if you'll have me LOL0 -
Back from my hols, uued a few things while away, the sample foundation that's been on my pan list forever, a small mascara, an eye liner that went rock hard and was scratchy got ta. I left a bottle of shampoo that only had enough for one use in the holiday house as it wasn't worth packing and could help someone out who forgot it.
UU a lush bubble bar last night to celebrate coming home and the fact or new bathroom was fitted while we were away. It looks gorgeous.SPC~12 ot 124
