A UU - Olay wipes, bought during some glitch so they were either free or VV cheap!
so would buy again for that offer :T
Bought a groupon haircut yesterday as my hair has got very long and feel it's a bit flat and needs some style. When I phoned to book they told me there was surcharge it it was below shoulder level  can they do that? I've never heard of that before.
Anyway mine is middle of my back but I would like it back to shoulder length, so do I try and cut it myself  or do I pay the surcharge?
I watched some videos last night and TBH doesn't look too difficult, although that might be famous last words!!Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.

I know my hairdressers charge extra for cuts and blowdries on long and/or thick hair, so I think it's quite a standard thing? I think I pay £4 or so extra as I have long hair. Cheeky if they didn't have it in the small print when you booked through groupon though, they do love to claw money back on those things!0 -

I've seen that before in offers for colour/highlights, or blowdrys, but not for a simple cut. And it was always stated up front in the offer - you shouldn't find out only after you've bought it.
I have long hair (and thick) hair - so there is extra time involved in drying it, but not in cutting it. The cut is actually very quick, as all I ever want is a straight cut across the end, no layers or anything
I'd call the salon back and ask them to clarify, especially if it wasn't stated when you bought the voucher.0 -
A UU, a TA and an In for good measure!
3. Lush Yog Nog, approx 100g - this soap smells fantastic, but toward the end of the bar I was so sick of it. The consistency was very mushy so you always ended up coated in soap, and our hot tap is far too hot so it was painful to have to wash it all off! UU and have started a new bar of White Flower Lei soap which is a much sturdier bar.
4. REN Vita Mineral lip balm 15ml - I went to put this on last night and the texture is just disgusting to me, so gloopy. I couldn't tolerate it, so in the bin it goes!
And my IN is a 2oz solid lotion from Geek Fire Labs in Blessed Bee. This smells lovely and has the cutest tin! I love solid lotion for cuticles, elbows, and heels.0 -

Supercuts do that. If your hair hits your shoulders it costs more than if it is just above. My hair just hits my shoulders so it actually makes Supercuts more expensive than other salons so I don't go to them for a trim. I can understand it if someone has really long hair, but my hair takes no time at all to trim.0 -
Thanks for the ideas re the haircut. It wasn't on the small print (I've checked!
) but don't go to the hairdresser that often so didn't know if it was standard practice.
Have read up about cutting hair and had also thought I would like to donate to one of the children's cancer charities so going to get most of it cut off beforehand and let the hairdresser sort out the crazy cut later!:rotfl:
