More good news!
After being told by the council earlier this year that my son would not be eligible for free school transport on the school bus, i have just been informed that we are!
Normally they refuse, as we moved out of the immediate area that they provide, but because we moved to be closer to my sons treatment teams, they have allowed it!
So that will save me about £48 a monthHappy days!

I am aiming to clear this debt in no longer than 12 months. I was on another thread of mine, and worked this out:
So £8000/12 (months) = £666 a month that i need to put towards it.
That actually means that all of my surplus income WILL be going towards debt, with none left for fun. But i need it to take no more than 12 months, as my 0% rus out in November 2017.
*sigh*
I feel a bit disheartened to be honest. That means that all of my surplus income, PLUS MORE, will have to towards debt.0 -

Personally, as much as clearing it in 12 months would be lovely. I think may be you're aiming too high? No wonder you feel disheartened :grouphug: have a dodgy hug. How about aim for half? Anything over that is a blessing?0 -
PMO2, yes you are right. I think i am just going to aim to clear off as much as i can every month. There is no way i can pay of £666 every month, so its unrealistic to think i can clear it in 12 months.
I think i am going to tot up all my debt and add it to my signature and then do a proper plan.0 -
Ok, I've totalled up my debt and added it to my signature. £7031.31..So i've paid off almost £1k already.
I've given myself 14 months to pay if off, to be DF (again!) by Jan 2018. That is only an aim though, and it doesn't matter if i take longer than that.0 -

Thanks BobI hadn't actually realised how much I'd already paid off. I thought it may have been about £500, so am pleased that it's in triple figures!
