Thanks Bob :) I am really enjoying it, although it's very small. I really hope to grow it.

So i am just about to put £500 towards my Capital One CC. It was going to be £600, but i had to put a deposit down on the Motibility Car. I get that back once i pick the car up in a few weeks though.

Thanks LSD :) I paid it yesterday, so that is my Capital One CC paid off in full too.

Now i have approx £5500 left on my Barclaycard. That's my final debt.
It will take 12 months if i am lucky and live a totally skint life (kind of what i have been doing in Dec/Jan/Feb)...but to be honest i don't think that's possible. But 18 months at the most.

    Afternoon All :)

Not much going on here, just plodding along.
I've updated my budget now that i have the motability car, i no longer pay for tax, MOT, Insurance Etc.

I have decided to start a car sinking fund once i am DF. So once i have to hand the motability car back, i can look at buying something else.

But i need to focus on becoming DF first.

Afternoon Everyone..can't believe it's been so long since i updated!

So...the debt remains the same amount as last month. At least i've not added any!

I'm going through some health issues at the moment, and havent put as much towards debt as i was hoping this month, mainly because i have been driving to and from hospital quite a bit, and comfort spending..oops!

Have knocked that on the head though! And hopefully the hospital visits will be less, as i am being admitted for a few days at the end of the month. Plus everything else can (hopefully) be done at the local GP surgery.

So it's been quiet on the paying off debt front this month, but have just written Aprils budget a bit early, and am hoping to put an extra few hundred towards debt next month.

I'm trying to be a bit realistic and not worry about paying all the debt off this year, it's not possible. But i am hoping in 18 months time.

I cant remember if i told you all, but i've started a support group for those who care for people with Autism. It's going really well! We already have 21 members and i only started 2 weeks ago.
I am funding it entirely from my own pocket, but it's only costing about £20 a month to hire the hall. We have just been sponsored by a local corner shop, and they are proving tea, coffee, sugar, milk, biscuits etc.

Why on earth don't you charge people a small amount to attend, to cover your hall hire? I'm sure they would pay happily as they are getting refreshments free..... (I work in the charity sector, and honestly - this is normal! If you charged £1 it would still be a heavily subsidised outing for people.)
