If you are still unsure if you want to upgrade to Windows 10, you can create a backup image of your already-activated system and re-install it at any time. That way, you can easily switch between Windows 10 or your current OS at any time in the future.

I've spent the past 3 days searching for my spare copy of win 7 home edition to put on a spare hd. Can I find it? A big fat no. I 'm just frustrated cos I know tomorrow I will find it and it will be too late.

bizarrely my friend tried to run his upgrade and the notification says his copy has been reserved and to run the install when he is notified after the 29th lol

Probably as much OS as anyone needed.

Happy with Win10 though - infinitely better than Win7 and Win8
