One of my mobile Xpressions accounts hit 20 points so just redeemed a £20 amazon e-voucher. whoop!
Also go my !!! back on my swagbucks account, so gong to sort that out and get earning there too. And have about £42 thats just come confirmed on my TCB account! This feels good! (Won't count the TCB until I cash it out)
Edited this morning to add that whilst I couldn't sleep last night I managed to completed 2 surveys on valued opinions which took my balance to £16! So I've cashed out a £15 Amazon voucher.
I should stay up more often! Haha!

Hi,
I don't usually complain about service but we've had some serious issues with our mortgage provider over the past few weeks and today we've had a phone call saying that they will be giving us £300 in compensation for this. I'm going to add this to my total for this month.
Hopefully they'll be no more issues - we just want to be in our new home.0 -
That's a great result, Smiley87:T:T:T
Don't apologise for complaining about services or goods that you've paid for. Some companies get away with murder. I'm the same about complaining, I'd run a mile from a confrontation but with email it makes complaining when necessary almost painless;).
My mother was the complaint queen:eek:, I used to cringe with embarrassment whenever I was with her in shops and so on when she was in full complaining mode:o. Maybe that's why I'm just the opposite;)
Talking of complaining I've been undecided for ages about whether to complain to a big online book retailer that has messed me about big-time. They seem unable/unwilling to sort out the problem (which is 100% their fault). I certainly don't intend to ever buy from them online again but I could visit one of their shops (after a round trip of 32 miles plus car parking fees) and am tempted to [STRIKE]demand[/STRIKE] ask for compensation in the form of vouchers. What do you think?0 -

yes I would. I think it is good to tell them where their customer service is failing.0 -
I'm back after a bit if time off... my poor boy Minky (cat) was hit by a car on Friday so I've been nursing him and as I'm stuck at home with him, started a huge clean and clear out mission.
My SO found an old money box hidden in his wardrobe and opened it. He hates changed so I swapped his silver for £1s and as he hates copper he said I could have it all. I dumped it all in some cleaner then dried it and counted it up. £3.16plus about 25p in roadkill found in random bags and drawers. £3.41 for Saturday. I got lots of freebies shopping which I worked out; saved me £10.
I'm selling a bunch of books to a friend amount TBC.
Sorted out clothes, books, gift set smellies and kitchenware into piles of charity shop, car boot/fb selling, with a bag of good stuff I know my friends would like so if they want it I'm happy to let them have it for a token donation. I bought my sister a beautiful and widely coveted Millie Marota's Animal Kingdom colouring book from Debenhams. (Was £9.99 reduced to £4.99 and at the till it came to £2.99!!!) I'm claiming that as £2 wombled asdI'd have not bought it at full price. My C-word budgets include buying gifts (worth up to £10) for £5 or less per person.
£15.41 to add to my total of £344.88 = £360.29/£3.10Ev Kizzy Make £10 A Day August Challenge: £364.54/£310

Really sorry to hear about your poor cat, evkizzy:kisses3:. I hope he'll be fully recovered soon.
I got an email from eBay today with an offer of a £10 voucher (to be spent on eBay) for listing something for sale by Monday. It doesn't look as if there's any price limit so it might be worth listing something cheap. From what I can see whatever's bought with the voucher has a minimum price limit, they'll give full details when they email the voucher after the item is sold.
Has anyone had this sort of offer before? Is it worth doing?0 -
Evening all
Well done Trush on all your money-making efforts :j
That's a great result Smiley87. Soo pleased for you that they offered to pay compensation for your troubles
I would certainly complain CBC - LOUDLY - as otherwise they will just continue in their own fashion, and I bet you're not the only dis-satisfied customer by the sound of it. Afraid I can't help with the bay of E as I don't use them.
Sorry to hear about your cat Ev - trust he's on the mend now. Well done for hitting your target already :T
I received a voucher today for a 'free' box of wine. I have ordered it, as instructed, and will wait to see if it arrives - should be Thursday so fingers xd. Probably get plagued with offers from them for ever more now :rotfl:
Hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday

not me but others have received it. theirs was a minimum spend of £30 with £10 discount, so not bad if something you want to buy.
I have an item on for sale at the moment. looks like might sell tonight but I havent received that email0 -
Thanks, Aesop. £10 off a £30 spend will do nicely:T. Will see if I can get something listed today. Having probs getting stuff photographed so it will have to be something flat that I can scan in. Maybe one of my cross-stitch charts or kits (well, my late Mum's really).
Nothing else to report so far and nothing in the immediate pipeline:(
Keep going everyone during this last week:beer:0
