Tenants thread

Options
I am only starting this new thread, as I can't find another one, that covers the issues, that I want to hear about. This forum is open to Tenants only please. I do NOT want Landlords adding their thoughts, as this only distracts from the issues.
I belong to the Tenants Voice, there are so many problems experienced by tenants, that go unanswered. So if you are a Tenant, like me. Here is you voice!
Do you have a difficult Landlord, making demands that you do not understand. Has a Landlord made promises, then backed out of them? Anything that you want to discuss about your tenancy, or the lack of support you have received. Please tell us your story. This includes a moan about your agents or service providers. So Remember, this thread is for TENANTS ONLY.
I will share my experiences once we get started.

Er, this forum is open to everyone to post on. Good luck with making sure that only tenants post.

    (I'm not a tenant.)

Why can't landlords add their thoughts? Surely they are in an ideal position to give advice on issues that may affect tenants.

I don't understand? You appear to already have a forum on the Tenants Voice website for which you can set whatever rules you like. Why come on here where you can't set the rules, or this this just spam to drive traffic to your website?

I think Nobbie has hit the proverbial nail on the head.

PS I'm not a tenant or a landlord, although I have been both in the past.

Also some people are both landlords and tenants at the same time, so are they or are they not allowed in the thread? It's the age old paradox, Schrodinger's Landlord...

We can be right awkward when we want to be, can't we? LOL

Look, the comments I made, were not to insult Landlords. I just didn't want negative things related to real problems. If, pretty please, Landlords can give constructive advice, then, I really welcome that.
It is just that I have read many wicked comments, on a Landlord forum elsewhere. Please forgive me and welcome.

A 'tenants thread' does not add any value. A thread must be exactly that, a single line of discussion, not a mishmash of stories and comments.

Even better: Why don't you guys set up your own online forum?

Oh wait, Google tells me that you have. So why even post this here?!

Yes I've seen some pretty awful comments from landlords on other forums, but they're a pretty decent lot over here and the bad ones get smacked down pretty quickly.
