i cant justify to spend £50.00 for getting 1500 points for BB
same here-i filled my basket then changed my mind at the last moment even though i found a code for 300 extra points still couldn't convince myself to spend £50 fo points.
I've not tried or smelt any of the brands except burts bees and nuxe and tbh i'm not that impressed with nuxe so will pass on this offer.Trying to limit my spending in boots as it is getting out of control.Love can tame the wildest0 -

Right hve been through my vouchers to make a list of what i can get tomorrow. Do you think the No 7 ones will work on the christmas stuff? It does not say on the back that it excludes sets. I have several No 7 ones and a couple of 750pts ones. I need to use on of those for my eye base but dont know what to use the other one on."I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best." — Marilyn Monroepinkladymel wrote: »she hasn't lost the ol' Bootsing magic

i know its a freebie, but they are quite small and they hand them out anyways in Boots....so dont lose heart if u dont get them...honestly there are better bargains and stuff at boots...:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
lilaclily, are you sure these are the same creams they just hand out? I was expecting something different. Why would you need an AC coupon to redeem against something you can get for free anyway? I know boots have better bargains than this one. I have a wardrobe, kitchen and bathroom full of boots bargains, LOL0 -

Regarding the Spend £50 get 1500 points range....
I agree it's far too much to spend however... Caudalie is fantastic unfortunately I can't find the face exfoliator but as a range it's the best I've ever used (just expensive)No person is your friend who demands your silence, or denies your right to grow. :kisses2:0 -
Why are so many people on this board so nasty and spiteful towards Boots SAs?
Of course the girls are going to get annoyed. How would you feel working in Boots if you were selling amazing bargains to everyone while not being allowed to buy any yourself until your break that may be 5 hours away? By that time everything is gone!
Also if you know the things were reduced why ask for them to be scanned?...To purposefully rub the SAs nose in it?
I've worked in different shops and I have to say that while some customers are lovely, Boots has the highest percentage of customers that are just plain nasty!
By the way this isn't aimed at you personally jimsmum! I'm just feeling very frustrated after dealng with rude customers while having to be pleasant to them as they pay for their bargains that they gloat over.
Orlaith85, I do feel for you working in retail. I know some members of the public can be horrid to shop staff. I've witnesed serveral incidents where customers have been so awfull to SA's............ Also, I'm sorry you feel us customers are getting all the best bargains. It obviously varies from store-to-store whether the manager informs the staff of the best offers - or not in your case. At my local store the staff get to pick all the best bargains during sale time, before the customers have a chance. For example, on the first day of the 75% off January sale I was there just after the store opened. When I reached the sale section the staff had already filled up several baskets...each. Also, the SA's at this store are allowed to leave the till at any time to grab a bargain (well, I'm not entirely sure they are 'allowed' to, but they do). A couple of months ago I bought some nivea tinted moisturiser in the sale and the SA asked where I'd got it from. As soon as she'd served me she dashed upstairs to grab some for herself. I heard her tell another SA she was off to grab some cheap creams!
This afternoon, I went to pick-up 2 sets of prints. I had 2 photo vouchers to use up ( for anyone who still has them, they expire on saturday) I asked the SA to put the prints through seperatley. She said "I was going to suggest that anyway. You might as well get something for free, as everyone else around here use so many vouchers and get their shopping for nothing. I've no idea where they get all the vouchers from" LOL0 -
went into boots yesterday, put my card in the machine and up came an offer of win 1000 points, so i enter and it states sorry you have not won. anyway collected a couple of other vouchers, and when i went down into the slot there were LOADS of vouchers (obviously the people before me). there were a couple of winners of 1000 points which clearly stated take this to the till and the points will be credited. and true enough the points were credited to my card.
i assume that the people before me had inserted their card and it had stated "congratulations you have won 1000points" or to that effect, and them not realising that you actually have to have the voucher to take to the till
So is it worth "wombling" round the advantage card machines?Give blood - its free0
