I Can't seem to get any good deals lately. Like others on here that have said the east midlands boots are rubbish the sale was non existent. I tried to use the 2000 pts on a half price oral b electric toothbrush but the SA read the voucher over and over again and refused it due to it shouldn't be used with any other offer. i asked if she could scan it to see but she just said no so i left it, then i asked her to scan the baby wipes as there wasn't a price on the shelves they came up at £5.00 so i also left them the SA just gave me my card back and tutted. It would be a great help if there was a price check machine like in tesco then i wudn't have had to go to the SA and make her annoyed.
Found an old receipt today from the good old days of bootsing it made me smile it was from when we got the 6 for 1 on no.7 + gwp + used 5.00 voucher total bill 50p or £1 how did we get away with that :rotfl: it wudn't happen now.:)Mummy to 2 wonderful boysWant to be fit for 30 not fat at 30but i want never gets!!!0 -
Been to get all my points added onto my new AC - wish I'd read FSDSS's post about wombling first!
Estee Lauder are giving 500 points reward on purchasing any 2 items - not on .com though, only one voucher per transaction. Also doesn't say 1 item has to be skincare. Valid 26 September to 10 October.
Anyone know what the cheapest things on Estee Lauder counter are??2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

Called at Birstall Boots for an emergeny Nappy consignment, and threw a few other bits in (as you do!) to make it up to £20 and collect my extra 150 points! Glad I did now, as the SA asked me as I finished my transaction..."do you want one of these?" and waved the Max Factor Freebie bag at me!
They were free with spends over £20!!!!!!
Thanks again Boots!makinprogress0 -
Hi
It really is worth trying your advantage card in different machines and stores if you are not getting any offers. I tried several machines yesterday and got 50% off Alton Towers and a couple of other offers but nothing more.
Today I went to my local store and got loads of different offers, and it is a smaller store, so it just pays to keep on trying.
I would also point out that I feel sorry for the men out there as my son does not get many offers but then maybe he doesn't shop in Boots as often as I do!!!0 -
Apologies in advance if I've missed this earlier in this or earlier huge Boots threads. Am I right in thinking Boots are doing 10% off with Advantage Card for the over-sixties and if so, do you have to sign up somewhere?
My Mum hadn't registered her card online so I've done it for her and signed her up for the health club, etc. (She wanted me to sign her up for the parenting club for a laugh but I balked at the fibbing!) Anyway, I couldn't see a box to tick for over 60s - does it automatically register when you put in the date of birth?
If it does automatically register a 'senior' does that mean that it will flash up on the till so that it will be obvious that I'm using her card at the moment (sincerely hope it will be evident to SAs that I am not over 60 whatever the potential saving!)
As previously posted, I've lost my card and due to a bit of a saga will have to wait another three weeks on top of the four I've already waited for its replacement. I know I can still get my points with validated receipts but I'm missing out on ACM vouchers - hence borrowing the card! I don't want poor old Mum to be stripped of her card though because I'm clearly (I hope!) not a senior! However, I'd like her to be able to get the 10% (if it is on offer) when I give it back - not least because she can also buy things for me!0 -
Can anyone tell me if the 3 for 2 on toys will be on until xmas and is it instore aswell as online?0

tried to get braun toothbrush yesterday (with parenting points) but no longer half price!
Also tried to get the wipes but they are back to normal price too...
very dissapointed as no bargains to be had!
Keep up the good work girls0 -
I'm pleased i grabbed the wipes when i saw them as i have about 6 packs of 4 left and they were a bargain.
It does feel like there are no hot offers to grab at the minute doesnt it0
