    No problems here either.

I do most things on internet banking so only called them a few times, also used the secure messaging service, been to branch once and no problems with any of the facilities.

I have held several 123 accounts for a few years now and never had any problems. I am an easy customer as I can manage literally everything online and I am always in credit. I generally only pop into Branch when I need larger amounts of cash, and only needed to call them once or twice regarding my current accounts.

Easy depends on your interpretation, you're taking a bit of money off them after all!

I can say since I've had my Santander account (only since this year) they've been very pleasant on the phone and the online banking + rest of systems seem to work trouble free.

The fact that they pay me a nice bit of cash every month to bank with them is also a nice bonus.

I haven't been into a branch with a specific request beyond seeing a cashier once, but she was quite efficient and there were no queues.

Add to that - my money seems to go where I send it when I send it there almost instantly so overall no complaints !

They're also very slowly going the way of HSBC and the whole global banking thing, which depending on your needs, could also be quite convenient.
    Thanks

*If* Santander went ahead with a 1% reduction would that make Tesco Bank and TSB slightly more appealing to savers with less than £2/£3k in savings?
It's not your credit score that counts, it's your credit history. Any replies are my own personal opinion and not a representation of my employer.

At that level of savings (and even higher), those other accounts are already more appealing than the Santander 123, because of the £5 pm fee.

No doubt all those other accounts would slash rates as well

Ive max amount in Santander and have had no problems with it at all. Internet banking is easy and it was opened ( 6 months ago ) very quick and easy

Possibly. However, they all have much lower limits than Santander's £20k, so are not as costly (from the banks' perspective)
