Fingers crossed the new enquiries slot in to those times and all is well again
Oh completely. The fact is, I only know now as I had a funny sixth sense about counting on the money. So gave them a poke.
Some people seem to good to be true if you know what I mean. But also I think when you are dealing with small businesses, they often don't want to let people down and hope for a better out come. So it might be through bad luck on their behalf that they can't afford it." Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

2. It's January. A lot of people are broke, is it going to be lots of enquiries but no bookings?

Hello Bob! Happy new year - I'm very pleased to hear you've had so many enquiries, I hope they all turn into bookings
It's rubbish news about the drop-out, but as you say at least you had the good sense to give them a prod to make sure it was happening. I think small business owners often develop spooky senses about clients, my OH certainly has them!!Mortgage: £83,000

Things already did! Like I've said before, this is not a good game if you don't like surprises. Since I last updated, have had a confirmed booking for the Saturday from my reserves list. Just waiting for the BACS to go through. One delighted family who can now take the other weekend day, I'm doing a viewing tommorow morning then that should be as good as done (she offered to book without viewing but I don't like to really. And a third enquiry came in via phone from a Dad looking to arrange his daughter's birthday! Again very keen but just wanting to run things past his family.
That would make 3/7 enquiries a booking.
This is great for cash flow.
Funny enough, the booking that fell through this morning was of the use class that hammers my energy bill, whereas parties are low on cost as they are short, don't use the facilities and don't need much in the way of water or waste removal. So if someone had asked me how could today best turn out I'd have probably said like this!" Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

Wow that's pretty fast moving! Excellent news.
Thank you Verbatim. I made another £50 payment today with half the booking money. Need to balance keeping some back for the big bill." Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

Oh Bob - running a business would be SO bad for my stress levels. I genuinely couldn't cope with that at all... But I'm thrilled that it's all turned out ok in the end for you. Happy days...Not giving up

Wow what a day Bob, I'm like CCL and I certainly couldn't do it, my nerves would be shot and I'd never get to sleep!
Sticking with the "Small things" thread to keep up us on the straight and narrow.
