Savvy Shopper! I've been Money Tipped!
    Afternoon

Seem to be feeling quite blocked today creatively speaking. I have a number of projects that need input, but I havent quite got going mentally. So instead I am going to take the what am I pleased about today approach?

    1. I went onto the local forum, found a really good sounding opportunity, contacted the person posting, and will now wait and see. The local forum has delivered me £150 in work in March, and £70 in May. So well worth looking at on a daily basis.

    2. Have posted on social media for work, which is really picking up.

    3. Am sat down now with the hardship relief form for my business rates and will get that filled in, in an envelope and posted off on my way to the school run.

    4. Checked my business account & found 2 new deposits paid in today. Updated my business finances spreadsheet accordingly.

    5. Discussed an issue at the flat we own with OH and decided what we can do about it.

Im sure I can find my creativity again soon. As I already said to M&O on her diary 'Your vibe attracts your tribe' And I am trying to keep that in my mind today.

    More later!

    Bob

    Hi All

Hope everyone is well? What a scorcher today. Just plonking for a break with an iced water after attacking the weeding for an hour. It is incredible what you can do in short bursts. I am really pleased with two of the borders at the front. I planted a rosemary 'wall' between us and the neighbouring drive from plants I'd grown myself from cuttings, a few years ago. Gradually the plants are growing together and spreading out to take over the whole border. It smells great! The other is full of lavender. One plant I brought with us when we moved from our old house. That is butterfly lavender. It is so beautiful for certain parts of the year, although goes back to a grey in between. The other two plants are survivors of an original 5 I bought for 50p each from B&Q a couple of years back. I think they were Hidcote lavender and certainly worth a lot more before being marked as past best.
Nothing fancy but all tended by me. There are two other borders I can do something with, the last has mature bushes growing in it and no room to use.

OH also just cut the lawn out back after his busy morning of odd jobbing between our flat and the business.

I'm reading another great inspirational book this time called How to be a Million £ Mum. I picked it up as a good general read as it's all about her own experience launching a publishing company. I was incredibly sad for her when she revealed that she lost her mum to a road accident whilst living alone in another country with her newborn triplets. But as she also very quickly pointed out, if she can do it under these circumstances, anyone can. It starts with you, it ends with you. PMA is everything.

On that note I'm going to crack on.

    Morning All

In further focus on the good, I am just getting ready to take my son to a creative workshop half day course. It's being run by an Arts company with an international reputation, and excellent deliverables at the end of it. Best of all? It's free!
However that didn't stop him just needing a very firm boundary setting discussion with OH when he decided he didn't want to go an hour ago. I don't know why he does it but it's happened so many times. So wish us luck that it goes well and he enjoys it because the options there to go all week and produce something incredible at the end.

I had a good enquiry come in today, which is very short notice but I can deliver if they have the wonga.

DH is off tommorow and from having a chat with a contact, I've found a lovely morning activity for him to take DD to, it's basically babies and children drawing to classical music. Again free :)

    Right! I'm offski.

My dream is to have a garden path overgrown with herbs and lavender, that I can walk up every day and feel like I have my own little piece of the country here in SE Lon. :)
