Morning all
Loads got rid of, I did find a beginnings of a small wasps nest up there, thankfully it seemed to have been abandoned I removed it just in case they decided to cone back to it. If the attic had still been rammed full I'd never have stopped it. Getting some nice pockets of space up there now.SPC~12 ot 124

Mrs mp I am so jealous that you can get into your attic - there's just no way for me to scramble up into ours, and I shudder to think how much carp is still living up there. Mr LW does go and have a flinging session occasionally, but I'm not convinced that he's being ruthless enough.
At least we don't have a lawnmower up there any more, so I suppose that counts as progress.
Oh, and Welcome Home jackywhizz. :wave:If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

I really need to knock something off my giant list today
Going to attack the kitchen this afternoon and then sit and sort more paperwork and a box or 2 whilst watching the GP highlights later on.

Happy birthday to mini ATB X
Calm before the storm here. Cracked windscreen so I'm a bit nervous of driving although the windscreen company say it's safe. It's booked for replacement on Thursday.
Really wanted a trip to the tip and obviously to collect the littlies.Bossymoo

DD had a crack, got it replaced and within a month the new screen was hit Junction 34 M1 northbound and it cracked again! She has been assured it won't shatter, we are leaving the replacement until MOT is due. Complaints have been sent as both stones were at the same place!
Been gardening. Need to iron really but the weather is fine.
Lovely to see some returners, we seem to be quite a select band atm
Going to wickets for some kiln dried sand as I have been lifting blocks to shift weeds and there are gaps to fill. We will gloss over the fact that I can't get them all back into position....
Since my sister has needed me my garden has been sorely neglected.
Went to my nephews housewarming last night (3 bathrooms and a diwnstairs lol ) and they rent an adjacent, huge plot of land planted with mature trees, fruit bushes, apple trees, a blackthorn (sloes - envy) and a chicken coop for £4 a year! Plus another section we couldn't get at as its overgrown at the moment...talk about envy!Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

I'm envious too although we have a sloe tree. And a taste for sloe gin lol!
All of Friday's list done except for the hoovering as Ds2 is still in bed. God knows what time he got it but it was past 2am....0 -
Hi Jackywhizz
Mr N and I have the house to ourselves again now; my brother arrived yesterday and took mum home after dinner today. Selfishly I hope she will recover well enough to not need me to go down again, as I've quite a bit to catch up on. Right now I feel quite drained so don't expect I'll be too dynamic! At least the house is fairly tidy; I just need to gradually return anything to its proper place as is always the way after visitors. Bedlinen washed and on the line. Did a roast dinner before they left, and we ate outside which was nice although the sun was a bit intermittent.
Can't be bothered to report what I've done in the last few days - seen a student; done a bit more tax return; done a bit of gardening and housework - will that do? I was really pleased with a flower arrangement I did for church yesterday - oh yes, I did an hour's cleaning while I was in there.
4 baby fairies visited the garden today which was lovely.
Next week:
I am officially back at the gym tomorrow with instructions from physio as to what I am allowed to do, and when. It is 31 days till our big holiday so I'm really wanting to get in shape. My brother passed me on a Fit Watch he had acquired, so doubtless much of this evening will be working out how to use it.......especially as I don't have a smart phone.
Wed is Mr N's birthday, but we are celebrating on Fri with a day in London, ending up with tickets for the Globe but not sure what we will do in the day.
Continue tax return.
Check status of students still at uni.
Sort out a few bits of paperwork from last few private assessments.
No good I'm too drained to think; I can feel the tablet in the conservatory is required............Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0
