Kids seem to be settling down and they actually gave me an hour of peace so I could crack on with some jobs before having a great game of hide and seek. We live in a 3storey house so lots of running around was done!!

Spent the day in the attic, I have got rid of loads. 32 bags of card and paper are out for recycling, landrover is full of stuff for the CS tomorrow and 2 bin bags are full of rubbish.
I've unbunged the slow draining kitchen waste pipe. Will need to dyson the landing tomorrow.
For now going to read a book, or crochet and watch a film. Both options will involve a glass of wine.SPC~12 ot 124

Mrs MP spent the day in the attic ... I thought you were hiding up there for a minute!
Have checked my finances, cleaned some windows, dusted some surfaces, washed some floors, done lots of laundry, taken a load of stuff to the tip, walked the dog and visited an elderly relative. Tomorrow is a day off, we are cycling. (Very excited about this).
Eugh, DS1 is frying sausages. Why cant he use the George Foreman like everyone else? Fat splattered everywhere and kitchen smells like a greasy spoon. Grrr just discovered I now have fat on my top after checking the sausages werent about to burst into flames (he has wandered off). Good job its an old t-shirt.
Anyhow its been a productive day. Thanks to DH our bedroom is edging closer to being re-decorated, I will be so happy when its done.0 -
My attic is very hot, 1 hour up there is more than enough, no way would I be hiding up there!
Kitchen has just been cleaned, something was smelling, so DW is on, all bins done and cleaned, sides and floor all done as well.Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Morning all
Sorry for being awol for a couple of days. I have managed to arrange the funeral, book the wake and sorted out sending grandad's will to the solicitor so he can crack on with obtaining probate. My grandma is very practical and wants me to get these things sorted, so I've been doing all I can to help.
DD is 4 today, where has the time gone. We are going for a picnic at the park later - her favourite thing to do. Her party is next week.:)
The cinema and meal out on Friday was really lovely, I'm so glad we went, we needed a change of scene and it did us the power of good. DH and I have been busy already this morning:
-chilli made for dinner
- finances checked
- drains unblocked and tip run done with the offending leaves!
- WM done and pegged out
- DW on
He is now washing the car whilst I entertain the smalls. I have loads of work to do this week, and need it out of the way before the funeral the following week.
Have lovely days all xxMFW
