Yawn...Morning all...
After my full-on day yesterday, you would've thought sleep would come easy. No. Tossed and turned for ages then woke up again at 4.30am. DH went to work early today as its nearing month end, so I think that was playing on my mind as I needed to do him lunch before he left. He has been doing a low-carb 'diet' this month and has lost over a stone, so I think I'll keep sending him with salads and healthy snacks as he says he feels better for it.
Friday flying will be with the assistance of all children, primed and prodded into agreement yesterday. After a visit to our local NT property to burn off any naughty energy though as I don't want to be referee today.
Well done Michelle on tackling your cloakroom. Congratulations on finding your long lost phone :rotfl: I have the playroom of doom to address today. _pale_ If I don't return by nightfall, send emergency chocolate....please!0 -
Hi all
ATB take care of yourself, now is when it will probably all catch up with you a bit. Use whatever help and support you need. Hugs x
Dizzy belated birthday wishes for your little one - and wow well done on the weight loss Mr Dizzy. I am doing the same as you tomorrow, I will make my teenagers clean and tidy their bedrooms a bit.
Sunday we are planning to have a day off and do something together. I know people were asking me about paid stuff earlier in the week. DH is still having health problems and didnt work yesterday. Right now my two jobs are absolutely essential to bring in the money, especially if DH is ill. So I will be getting as much paid stuff done as I can today!
Oh and its raining here, that wasn't supposed to happen. Do I put washing over airer or not?0 -
Good Morning All,
Thank you so much for your kind wishes. I feel shattered today, it is definitely going to be a weekend with much RnR needed to try and catch up with some sleep and replenish the energy reserves before we start to tackle the admin, funeral arrangements etc next week.
So far the WM is on its 2nd load, the kids are arguing and I'm cooking DH a full english. Off to the cinema later and out for tea - we can't really afford it, but we all need a treat and something to take our mind off things.
I promise I will catch up properly with everyone's news over the weekend.
Big hugs all round xxxMFW

Morning folks x Welcome back Skinty & Ishtar X
I have stripped ds2's bed and my bed. Weather is overcast so I'm not sure whether to peg out or not.
I need to order some groceries but first I'll remake the beds. Ds2 wants to go through his things looking for what he can sell.
We plan to have a day out tomorrow since I'm not dancing for a change.0 -
Morning all. Enjoy the cinema ATB.
I am still not dressed which is just shocking. So far today, I have sorted finances, had egg on toast for breakfast and fed and medicated the dog, washed the breakfast dishes, done a meal plan (sent the shopping list to DH!) and cleaned the fridge.
My plans for the rest of the day:
Get dressed
Hoover through
Walk dog
Bath dog
More gardening
Make something with eggs
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Morning all
