ATB (((HUGS))) and I hope your Grandma is coping ok - you were concerned for her in an earlier post, if memory serves. x

Flying is all to pieces I'm afraid; I'm feling pretty rough today (still not over that nasty whatever-it-was - bug/lupus flare/combination of the two - from a few weeks ago.)

However, Fidget has been fed and walked - we got slightly wet when someone "upstairs" emptied their bathwater (ie it rained, very suddenly and very hard), but luckily Fidget is good about being toweled dry. Had to change my dress though, it was soaked!
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

    Made a small cooked breakfast.
Done a flower arrangement for church.
    Hoovered all downstairs.
Beef and veg in slow cooker.
Mr N has picked loads of white currants and a few red currants although they are sadly a bit past it - should have been picked when we were in Wales.
At least all this scampering round looking after mum has made me lose the 3lb I put on while we were on hol.

About to treat ourselves to coffee and cake at garden centre - well 2 of the coffees are free anyway! We may drop in at the local RSPB place and get a bit of fresh air and bird watching - mum's neighbour lent a folding wheelchair so we can try that out.

    Have a good day everyone.
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.

Spent the best part of 2 hours on the computer doing jobs which needed to be done before DD takes it with her. DD meanwhile has been doing the cleaning upstairs and driving Zack mad with the new carpet sweeper :rotfl: At least he's not running away like he does when we get the vacuum cleaner out.

Monday Munch Mess Mayhem - KITCHEN
    Level 1
Wipe the worktops and anything that is visible on them, including that kettle - after you've descaled it, that is!
With a very slightly damp cloth wipe the sockets, switches and door handles.
    Level 2
Wipe down all the door fronts, cupboard doors etc
Get down on your hands and knees and give the kickboards a wash
    Level 3
Take any mats outside and whack them against the wall
    Sweep/vacuum/mop the floor
    Clean the windows
    Extras
Sort out ONE drawer - you get to choose which but be ruthless and bin junk
Check your TOOTS list...with the fine weather is there any job you could get done (eg curtain washing/pillow washing/duvet washing)?

Twinkling Tuesday - Your sanctuary - the boudoir! DD's has been done as well.

    Extras
End of the month approaches - do you need any birthday (or any) cards for August? Write a list ready to take with you when you go shopping!

    Wiping Wednesday - bathroom
    Level 1
Flush the loo and coat it with your cleaner of choice - need to buy bleach first
While it's soaking clean the sills and polish mirrors
Scrub the loo out then wipe it with hot soapy water outside and in - don't forget the gungy bits by the hinge!
    Level Two
    shine the sink
    polish the taps
    Wipe all surfaces/sills
    Level 3
bath and/or shower - Wipe with hot soapy water, polish the taps with a damp m/f cloth
    clean the window
    Clean the floor
    Extras
If it's fine half an hour weeding or watering as appropriate
Scheduled any Toots list tasks? Do share - we (well I) might get motivated!

    Living Room Loveliness
    Level 1

    Level 3
    Polish all wood
wash/dust light fittings - dont forget the bulbs!

S&S in the kitchen and the bathroom.

I'm going to tackle the kitchen after lunch

Well, I've managed to do level 1 of Monday and Tuesday. It's not been easy as I've been suffering fatigue and I'm waiting for an appointment at the sleep clinic.

But...I feel much better for starting and just those little things have made such a difference.

Off to make some dinner now, then I might go and have a soak in the bath :)

Ive had a flurry of activity, dusted, vacced and mopped all downstairs except the dining room.

Mopped myself into a corner with a brew :)

I think other than a good shower and perhaps some pottering, I'm done for today...

Hope you all have a pleasant weekend:)
