thankyou so much Jacks I still have QVC TSV's in my cupboards and will never use it. I actually used to stay up till midnight to see what was coming I still have QVC TSV's in my cupboards and will never use it. I actually used to stay up till midnight to see what was coming I have cellulite creams and I dont even have cellulite. I have moisturising masks and my skin does not need any more moisture. I have body oils that I never use..... the list goes on and on. I do still swear by Liz Earles cleanse & polish though but I buy it direct now as it is cheaper and the postage is less. I actually got about 10 bottles of hair conditioner from a freecycler over a year ago who had stockpiled. I gave some to my mum and I am still working through the rest :rotfl: Make up wise - I used to work for a cosmetics company and used to have a garage full of the stuff. I sold most of it for 50p an item through friends and car boot sales  Official DFW Nerd Club Member #37 Debt free Feb 07 :cool:0  Official DFW Nerd Club Member #37 Debt free Feb 07 :cool:0

 Absolutely hon! My daughter, her friends and my nieces and god-daughters have all benefitted from some of my more adventurous purchases.
I'm a sucker for a beautiful eye shadow pallette with a gorgeous array of colours.
 But the fact is...
 Brown suits me!
If I veer towards anything much more colourful I look like I'm an escapee from Clown College!
And the lip colour that suits me best is more or less the same colour of my lips! (but on some level I must have always known that as I seem to have bought it over and over again in various incarnations!)
Still, I'm going great guns on the using stuff up front....
Hubby let the side down somewhat by buying shower gel this week - as he doesn't like the smell of any of the three minis we have open. (Bloomin' great princess! :rotfl: ) But at least it was Tesco Value!
I've finished a deep conditioning treatment which I'm going to miss - but I have another (different) one to use up so I'll cope. (Gotta have swishy hair! (Gotta have swishy hair! ) )
I'm out of fake tan for my legs, and instant spray on tanned leg stuff from Sally Hansen so it's trousers for me from now on!
I've run out of my favourite moisturiser as well, but I have others I can use.
Facial scrub is all gone too. I've got a foot scrub but I'm too squeamish to use that on my face. (It's a bit fierce and it's got sodium laurel sulphate in it which I'm scared of.)
And both my face masks have only got 1-2 face fulls left so they'll all go this month I expect!
I must admit I'm making an effort to use things up.
My elbows and knees have never been so velvety smooth!;)
How's it going for you guys?

Hi, I just wanted to say that this isnt just relevant to makeup for women. Last Xmas I decided that I wasnt going to buy anymore aftershave or shower gel ect until I had used up my the stuff I had in the airing cupboard.
All those "smelly packs" that people buy you as a gift at xmas have been stockpiled for years and between my brother and myself we have amassed a collection that would probally clean half of East London.
Nearly a year on I still have a lot of stuff left (Probally at least another 6 months worth) and have saved a fortune. ok, some of this stuff is better than others but I realised that soap is soap and all goes down the plug anyway. The only thing I have bought is Deodourant when it was buy one get one free at Tesco and I purchased about 20 cans what again will keep me going for nearly 6 months I hope. The stuff in those packs is awful and I may as well just spread jam under my arms instead of using that as it seems to have the same effect. lol. Same thing with Razor blades. I have been trying different blades and although some are total crap others have been good value for money and instead of paying £8 for 4 blades I now can get 10 quality disposable razors for around £2.00
I have worked out I have saved around £100 - £150 at least this year and I do not buy many tolietries at all.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 297 - Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts 0 0

 I'm glad you posted this hon. (men use toiletries too - huh? ) Loads of our stock pile is smellies that we have been given as gifts and using them up is saving us a fortune.
Even if we do smell "interesting" at times I LOVE that we don't have to spend money any of this stuff!

time for me to fuss up... however my obsesion started when i was on the mse wagon i thought buying cheap and buying bogof's was great... and i brought from avon as my friend is quite poor so i brought from her. At about £20~£40 per time i thought buying cheap and buying bogof's was great... and i brought from avon as my friend is quite poor so i brought from her. At about £20~£40 per time . Anyways i have now had to stop buying ~ why because i now get a skin rash if i use anything of avon's ie shampoo/shower gel. I still have a box of different things but i now have nearly 100 toiletries for my xmas box and nothing for me :rotfl: Now though i always try and get things on offer but i no longer go over the top ~ after all its only a bargain if you need it :rotfl: 0 . One of the advantages of having children, is that you can't have too much stuff around as little fingers will have it all over the place in a trice! Still I too have been using up gift sets this year, and have really only brought shampoo. But I have got a load of dior make up that has been used once, maybe it will go well on ebay?
chevI want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?
