the only things i have needed to buy for ages is shampoo/ conditioner/ shower gels, face wipes and tampax.
i have an abundance of face creams / body buffers/ body creams, eye creams, make up, suntan lotion etc.
need to use them up:o:love: married to the man of my dreams! 9-08-09 0 0

you'll not be able to use the suntan lotion up anytime soon chardonnay!

I had three drawers full of toiletries and make up which I cleared out last October and am slowly getting through. the only thing I have brought since doing this is shampoo and shower gel, and the occassional bottle of bubble bath (all BOGOF or under £1!) and the usual deodrant, face cream and face wash. I had so much stuff it feels great using it all up.***PROUD TO BE DEALING WITH MY DEBT***

Gawd, I'm exactly the same. Bloomin' Boots and their 3 for 3, 2 for 1, triple points, double points, skincare vouchers, etc, etc!
Well no more! I do not need another 6 unopened shower gels, 2 bottles of bubble bath, 3 tubs of body butter in my bathroom anymore. Wouldn't mind but I'm sure some of those bottles are at least 2 years old and nowhere near getting used!Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!0

            hiya lovelies.
I've had a good week on this front.
I've finally managed to finish my litre conditioner that's been on the go for a year, plus a face mask, and a massive cleanser.
There's actually a visible gap on my bathroom shelf.
And...Even better than that... I don't have to spend money to buy replacements cos there's that other cleanser, and that other face mask, and that other conditioner that still need using up.
(I'm trying to focus on the positives here!)
 How's everyone else getting on?

SOOOO pleased I found this thread...thank God it's not just me! I'm notorious for buying (spending diary always says boots!) and I'm sure it;s a psychological need to try & make myself a beauty (still not managed!). Car boots are a ood place to get rid of stuff if thats any help! I've also banned myself from mega expensive trips to boots but have bought some makeup recently as I have just started wearing it but MUST stop! Hang in there beauty girls - we must say no to carp we dont need! (mind you still enjoying my decleor body oil that I got for £36! Cant BEIEVE now that I spent so much on body oil & then same again (hangs head in shame!) on the matching body lotion!....Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Ooh, I think you might have earned a little bit of pampering after your sterling dieting efforts honey!
I [strike]get[/strike] used to get my Decleor on eBay and the occasional TSV. my Decleor on eBay and the occasional TSV.
I've never tried the body oil though, but I adore the body lotion. I'm currently adoring Palmers Cocoa Butter though and I don't feel deprived even though the Palmers is about £20 cheaper than the Decleor. It's still nice and my skin is still soft.
And just think, if we hadn't stockpiled all this stuff we'd have to be spending some money on it now so really it's a blessing that we're such suckers for BOGOF and 3 for 2 and Alison Young, and all the rest of it.
Or that's how I like to look at it anyway.
