    Wow Smiley, what a saving.

    £10.45 on vegbox today.

The waste list has worked; OH has been taking his fair share and I've been better at using the not so liked items in the cooking - nothing on the list this week after the two previous terrible weeks.

Will keep at it as don't want to slide back into bad habits. So glad we nipped this in the bud.

yes, they do expire - I think it's after two years.

On another note, is the B12 due to being vegan? Because unless there's an underlying issue, you shouldn't actually need to take supplements

Thank you, I went instore and the voucher is fine, but you are right, it is 2yrs.

Yes, the B12 is due to being vegan. I do try to eat mostly healthy.
  • Spent 21.70 in Ald* and 8.43 in L*dl today. This leaves me with 51.86 until the end of the month. Should be able to get quite far with what we have in the house. Would love to have some cash left over for next month's budget.

Amazing as I used to spend at least £100 on a weekly shop!

After making my food plan until the end of the month last night. I made a list of what I needed for the first weeks food and went to Ald* and Asd* today!

Spent 18.24 at Ald* and 22.33 at Asd*, this include cat and hamster food to last the month... I have about 13 pints of milk in so should last a while but will have to buy more.

I've told the household, that this is the shopping for the week, if we run out of stuff tough... told them not to just eat stuff as I have a food plan, which they've seen.

Here's to a lot more NSD, from a former shop every day girl..

Leaves me 42.36 for rest of month but last week of the month food plan, I'll need less in for as a lot I have - just perishables and bread and milk... should be doable!

£76 at the market today... it's going to be tight, very tight. There'll be top-ups of fruit, veg, bread & milk to go, and another market shop next Friday. Not at all sure I can squeak in under budget now, it'll only take a few things to vanish unexpectedly, and the chickens have chosen this moment to go into the moult, so we've gone from 4-5 eggs per day to 1 or 2... but I'm still going to try!

I did my weekly shop in L1dl today and spent £36.90 which I have added to my sig. But I mucked up by putting my debit card code in wrong 3 times so OH paid with his card. I was going to transfer the money over when we got home but he said not to bother as he was happy to pay. So I paid £20 for take away that he would normally pay for as he does the entertainment stuff. So outcome is my grocery total spent is £16.90 different to what I have in actual money left.

I went to a butchers today and spent 22.97 - but got a pack of 14 sausages, two sirloin steaks, 8 burgers, 3 large chicken breast and a pork joint for £20 - the other money was some freezer stuff they sell.
That sounds like a bargain - well done :T
