When I open my parmesan I grate the whole lot and freeze it in an air-proof bag. You can then use just what you need directly from the freezer as it doesn't stick together - lasts even longer then :rotfl:
Another NSD today :j
Hope you all have a great Wednesday

A conversation with my OH revealed that his favourite flavour of squash is not orange as I thought it was (And had thus been buying double quantities of) but is in fact lemon and lime. I felt like such an awful girlfriend for not knowing that I went into 6 different shops trying to find some. I found Lemon in Tescos which will have to do. 93p
Also bought a mini pack of strawberrys to go with the leftover jelly for £1.
£15.89 remains till next Saturday. It is possible. Especially since we will be out most of sat and sun. And bear in mind this is with the reduced £168 target so we are doing very well indeed.Debt Free Stage 1 - Completed 27/08/2020

Have stopped off at Waitrose a few times for YS items but they don't seem to make significant reductions. Tried early in morning and late at night. Had better luck in Co-op.
Bit of s strange month as feeding both kids all meals as not at school and been on holiday. Next month will give me a better idea when we are all back at school. Been baking and cooking all meals and most snacks. Need to clock up more NS days before the end of the month.October 2016 Grocery Challenge £76.11/250/
