    Quick update:

    - stick mainly to fruit and salad
[STRIKE]- shower upstairs so that I can then...
    - S&S bathroom
    - S&S kitchen
    - feed Marigold
    - WM x1[/STRIKE]
    - QHI
    - computer work
    - put feet up on sofa when necessary
    - plant out alpines (yesterday's impulse buy) once the sun goes off the raised bed

I am now reclining on the sofa with the ice pack on my swollen foot, a cup of coffee next to me, and Saturday Kitchen tickling my taste buds :D

    And so it begins...

Time for my house to start looking like a home again and not a midden.
Had some super, generous gifts (including one I  at the cost of) and some super messages.

And I have FINALLY made it to the bank for the rescheduled/cancelled/completely
    slipped my mind appointment.

    Happy holidays, Valli :)

Hope the swelling eases, ionafan xx

Just home from leaving kids with inlaws. Until next Sunday :( came home via M&S for a new black bra - found the one I wanted at £19.50 and it rang through the till at £1.49 kerching :mse:
So that cheered me up a bit.

Going to spend an hour filing my feet and faffing with eyebrows before I head out to meet friends for dinner. In my new bra. With a top over :p and some trousers. Lol.

Have a nice evening, all xx

I've been busy doing computer things. Ex tried to update DD's laptop but it's not compatible. Meanwhile I've been transferring files around to places they should be. I have loads more to go but I'm going gozzy so have set the computer to do a disc clean up then I'll do a defrag instead.

Laundry is well under way so that DD can get the ironing done asap. Tomorrow is the weekly shop then cleaning. ;)

Did everything on my list today except the QHI and planting - both carried forward to tomorrow. But I did manage to deal with another paperwork frog :)

Bossy, I was a bit concerned that you were going out in your new bra and nothing else for a moment............. :) hope you enjoyed your evening.

Late work done, tired this am, but back for more work in a bit..............

Not of a lot of daily stuff done, as I cannot be bothered, I am sure one day won't make too much difference.

Most important task for today has been done - Millie's "postcard home". She's being collected at 08:30 tomorrow morning, and there is no way I'm getting up at sparrowfart tomorrow morning to 1) get my hands mobile enough to hold a pen and 2) think of something to fill up the card - the standard format is the left side is written from the host, and the right side is done as if it's the dog writing it. It's the hardest part of the whole dog-sitting procedure! :D

Afternoon all. Just started spitting here so have come in for a cuppa.

Despite having taken Small to see The BFG yesterday evening and then not getting home until gone 10pm, both he and Tiny were jumping on my head at just before 7am this morning. Joy.

I whizzed out to get sausages and bread for breakfast and met DH's cousins, plus another small person belonging to younger cousin at the gate. Cue buying extra bacon and sausages to feed unexpected visitors. Apparently they'd been at a carboot sale near us and thought they'd pop in! They've just gone now, so a long three hour cuppa (breakfast, more coffee, play on the quad bikes, talk with Mr NDN about his truck which is for sale) was had, but Tiny has crashed out on the sofa, so I think he's had fun :rotfl:

Not much flying done and now planning a nap Zzzzzz.
