I'm up to £11.90 now. Some is copper and 5ps,
DS1 had to miss his hockey club on Tuesday so the £2 I had put aside for that went in.
His Wednesday after school footie club was cancelled so that was another £2 in.
I made the effort to take my own breakfasts into work this week, so I didn't have to put 30p into the tea-fund each day, so that was £1.50
And I'm not entirely sure where the rest came from but hey - who cares?Start Date: 27/11/2010
 Padding: Day 42
 Target £8000
 Amount: £562.230

Right: I am up to £24.13 in my pint-pot. I just had to pay 1 day dinners for DS2 (thus saving £5.20) and 3 days for DS2 (thus saving £2.60), and DS1 doesn't have any footy practice tonight (saving £3). The rest must just be coppers/5ps that I am finding...
I've also started putting money into a savings account so if any odd money goes in, for example from Quidco, I can just slide it to one side. So in my HSBC account there is £13.66, which is a little bit of interest, and £13.57 that my brother owed me when I paid for his shopping.
I can start doing overtime after the Christmas Holidays are over, which works out at £8.50 per hour after tax weekdays and Saturdays or £11.50 after tax on a Sunday. I'm also getting a pay-rise backdated to September in my Feb wage, and I'm getting honorarium payments for doing part of a supervisors job until March, so it will start adding up after the new year.Start Date: 27/11/2010

Wow, don't know how it has happened but my pint pot is up to £60.06! I'm thrilled to bits. It really does add up - it's mostly come from not having to pay school dinners, or out-of-school activities.
So £73.72 so far, I'm looking forward to January pay day when I can put some real money in it!Start Date: 27/11/2010

Hiya, I.F, you sound like youre doing really well. :T
We're off on holiday #1 tomorrow, yipee
So when we get back I'll be concentrating more on hol #2 in May. Got £750 to pay before 14th Feb, so will be all hands on deck with the old saves for a few weeks. Seems impossible, don't know where we'll get it from either...
Crept up quite quickly the balance being due.
Hope alls okay with all of you, speak when I get back :D:D :D:D
happy new year to all aswell!

I've decided that I am going to use some savings I have stashed away towards the final figure. I'm keeping it separate just in case I need to use it but I was beginning to worry that £1100 in three months might be a bit ambitious.
So: £401.97 in Savings Account 1
 + £ 13.66 in Savings Account 2
 + £ 86.07 in Pint pot
 Grand total = £501.70
Extra £20 in the pint pot came from my brother who owed me the money, and £5 from DS1 not having his footie training this morning ( I love holidays!!!)Start Date: 27/11/2010

Up to £93.18 in the pint pot now, thanks to the kids only needing school dinners for two of the days this coming week.
 £508.81 in total now!!
I'm such a saddo, I get right excited every time I find some loose change, or can put some of the kids clubs money away.Start Date: 27/11/2010
