Hi

Well I consolidated some of my debts at the weekend (yes I know we always suggest not to!) But anyway, I now have some more money to play with and it looks like we will be going to Ibiza in May.

We have been offered the villa for £150 for the week (which I think is good) then it will just be the flights and car hire! So I am hoping that this will be a good cheap break.

And I keep promising than once I can afford this holiday I will be over paying on the loan..... I PROMISE!

Hi, not going on holiday next year but have planned a big holiday in 2009 to Disneyworld. Total cost is going to be about £4000, so if I break it down into 2 stages I need £2000 saved by next July.

Hi, I'd like to join the holiday savings club please

DH and I are planning a trip to Vegas in 2009, so we really need to get on track with the savings. So far we have:
*Opened a high interest savings account to start saving each month, starting this month
*Decided to use the money I have been saving at work for Christmas for our holiday fund as DH has started a new job which brings in a lot of extra cash, so we can use that for Christmas (plus am super organised and have done loads of pressie shopping already!)

I will update my sig with savings so far when I've worked out how much we have!

hiya every1 just to let u know, no more savings from me this weekend, altho i have been dropping £1 coins into my little tin (cant be opened unless a tin opener is used ) which is starting to feel a bit heavier now...
dh suggested this weekend that we might go to centre parcs for weekend next year march time, not sure if well be able to afford it of course-but quite nice for me, as all the years weve been together its always been me suggest hols, dh has never suggested one! so im hoping we can go, just cos it marks a bit of an occassion! lol.
it is after holiday balance is due, so wont interfere with that at all, but after hol paid 14/02 well be saving bit of spends up march and april, so ill need to knoiw that wont be affected before i think of squeezing anything else in.

hows everyone else going on the savings front? hoping to hear something about a christmas job soon

Hi noggin and PAP (Hey' youve changed your avatar!), think I'll join if that's ok. We're going down to Pompey and to the North East for our hols next week and will probably go somewhere hot next year especially as Jack will be older then as well. I was looking forward to some this year I have to say, but hey ho.

anyways back to the challange :T all change here noggin :rolleyes: well i am not off with my mum abroad now... instead we are off to somewhere in the uk... so now i need £200 for that and then £500 + £200 for my holiday with my friend... total of £900

so far as i have nicked some money from my 'pots' i have £160 for my holiday with mum and £534.46 for the holiday with my friend... so i have £694.46 out of £900.00 so £205.54 to go however i have to save for my 2009 holiday too and i think i will take 'extra' spends to each holiday too...

sorry noggin but due to personal things i cant go abroad in may as planned... i hope i am not kicked out now :rotfl: i suppose i could 'start again' :rotfl:
