This morning's achievements - taken Jack Spaniel for his walk (with Mr LW's help - Jack's BIG and very strong) and been into town to collect meds. That's it.
    I'm now wiped out.
Have to make a loaf later (or talk Mr LW through what to do) and take Jack for another walk. Everything else can wait.

Well done DanceSon on passing test; if I fall in the water, he can come rescue me (I can't swim).
Word to the wise - I regard debt as something I'm allergic to. ;)

TTFN - need to rest, now. *Shoves CY up on the sofa to make room*:D
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
  • Afternoon,

Just posting my done stuff. I have discovered that posting a list of achievements seems to motivate me more than a list of stuff to do. I could get used to no paid stuff. Back tomorrow though.

    Beds made
    Dw and WM on
    Worktops and table wiped
    Washing Pegged
    Bit of ironing
    Swished bog and sink
    Scrubbed stains on kids carpet
Cleared carp from downstairs hallway and soon to be kids new room
    Hoovered and mopped the same
Started clearing our new room ready to decorate
    Mowed lawn

Right, off to do a bit more before school pick up. DDs both have friends coming for tea, so not much will be done then

    Hugs to all x

Back to hospital this morning for dressing clinic.

Surgeon: That looks good, it's healing well.
Me: How soon can I have a proper shower?
Surgeon: How soon can you get home?

Yippee! I have soaked my foot in warm water for a quarter of an hour and managed to put on an elastic stocking to match the other leg. And now I can get my jeans on too :D There's still a bit of swelling to go down before I will be able to wear proper shoes, but walking is getting easier thanks to continuing high doses of painkillers, and I don't have to go back to hospital until 1st August.

DH will be able to drive again on Sunday so we will celebrate by having lunch out :)

Take it easy, LW. I'm going to put my feet up too and watch a DVD this afternoon (essential preparation for my course, as recommended by college ;))

Sorry to hear that Twinkle is upchucking - hope you can get an appointment soon, pigpen. Would the midwife be able to get you in quicker?

Now shoving necessary there is plenty of room on this sofa for both of us.

    Less than two days to.go..

How did this happen? When they booked it we had 21 weeks.

I am prevaricating. I need to see the hook and eye onto the dress. I'm scared I'll ruin it, so.doing anything I can to avoid it.

Today is a day of lists and checks.

Tomorrow may be chaos so I may not be back before Sunday. But I promise to take it easy.

I noticed that, on another board.

They've banned quite a few long-standing forum users recently, none of whom seem to be trolls or troublemakers.. *shrug*

Oh dear :( she did mention a few weeks back there had been rumblings.

Emulsioning all finished (I hope) so just a little skirting and one door frame to do. Fitter called and said can he come in the morning with the panel and door handle. I said I thought we were waiting till the floor was in. He said he's got a free day tomorrow so will see if my flooring is ready, or if he can collect it! He hasn't called back, so I think he's coming at 9am, although I don't know if that will be flooring too or not. I hope so... That would be fab!

Dinner cooked and scoffed, I'm going to run baths for the kiddies - my god they are ready for the hols. Not long now...

Take care discussing members who are no more, possibly only temporarily, as there's a veto on such discussions apparently.
DD has been a star. My house is clean.
