Sorry to hear about "issues" going on around here, lets hope it does get sorted soon.

Oh the virtual sofa. I would love to hang out with LW and CY on there today. Tired. DH rolled his eyes at me last night for going to bed at 9.45pm. Yeah well you want to try working 2 jobs and doing all the housework. Nuff said.

Packed lunch to make, DS2 to kick out of bed and feed, breakfast, hair dried, work clothes on and out the door in about 35 minutes. Best get moving then!

Have a good Friday everyone x

Really busy yesterday so didn't get a chance to post. Work all day then drinks after work with colleagues to celebrate the end of term I was ds2s prom so we picked him and friend up then collapsed exhausted into bed.
Another busy day planned again so don't think much flying will get done.

I hope you have a fantastic weekend CY can't wait to hear all about it.

    Has this worked?

Jacket was in his hand lol, he was trying to be casual, it fitted really well and was well made. I Love his young lady's dress, she is a lovely girl.

    I'll delete this post later

Surgeon: That looks good, it's healing well.
Me: How soon can I have a proper shower?
Surgeon: How soon can you get home?
:D There's nothing like a "proper" shower or bath, is there? I've missed so much while I've been absent - what have you been doing to yourself??

Today: Jack walked and fed (and given his meds - he has a thyroid condition so has a Thyforon tablet twice daily). Luckily all one has to do is throw the tablet in with his food, and it gets eaten with no problems. :o
Finance spreadsheets backed up - didn't get done last week as I was just too poorly.
Need to Dys0n the lounge carpet, or at least blag Mr LW into doing so, as it's covered in Spaniel hair.

Flylady vibes would be appreciated - looks like the franchise is going to close, so I shall be out of a job shortly. The money's nice but not totally vital; but I rely on the dogs to give me a reason to get up in the mornings. :(
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

    Great pic :)

Fitters have gone - I have floor! It's lovely! They've also finished up all the bits they can do (panels, vents, fit plinth lights and the last cupboard handle) so it's just a case of waiting for the electrician and the glass man, and we are done.

Paint looks lilac though :( I'll see what it's like once the lights are working and the coloured glass is in. I've also quite a bit of cleaning to do - window frames etc. And of course paint the woodwork.

But it feels much more homely now the floor is down :)

Cleaned en-suite and bought a few more uniform bit. Paid last bit of dosh for works done.

Having an hour to myself now, and a late lunch!

 LW, I had a bunion correction and heel realignment on 30th June. I only spent 6 hours in hospital and I've had excellent care and everything is healing nicely, though walking - even with crutches - is still quite painful. DH has been holding the fort and is off to do a bit of shopping as I type. He hasn't been able to drive for 4 weeks because he had another TIA, but he'll be back on his own 4 wheels on Sunday :)

I finally got my shower at midday today :D
I have done WMx1 and cooked omelette for lunch, but now I'm back on the sofa, waiting for the painkillers to kick in again.

I hope you find some other way of getting doggy lodgers. Now that Mr LW is retired, would you consider advertising your services, or at least continue with the clients who have come via the franchisee?

    Yay! to flooring, Bossy :j

Your DS and his young lady look very smart, mrs-mp.

Well done on your decluttering, lynnejk.

Hope everyone is having a good day x

    Hello everyone.

CY - hope the wedding is all you wish for tomorrow.
Iona - glad you're on the mend
Bossy - great that you're so pleased with the kitchen. I like lilac.
LW - hope you can get something else sorted with the doggies. Maybe someone else will take the franchise on.
    Mrs MP - lovely photo

Ironing done here before the paid stuff today. Now counting down the minutes till I can log off for two weeks hols. Must book hair dresser for Monday if I can.

I hope everyone is having a great day.
Spend less now, work less later.
