Many happy returns of yesterday to pigpen's OH.

Mixed day, with another trip to hospital because my foot was so painful. Saw a very nice young Dr who suggested taking parrots at the same time as my other painkillers because they increase their effectiveness - and he's right... I slept all afternoon :D

I did manage to cook tea, top and tail 2 lb gooseberries, and print out the Old Wives' programme for next term.

:j Yay to new hairdo, CY :j.

My main issue is whether the same would happen for the other 3 girls.. there is a fair bit of favouritism goes on and I don't like it, so need to discourage it as much as possible.. I am very grateful for help with buying shoes and clothes and I think it is lovely she wants Squeak to have the birthday party she wants.. but.. I need them all to be treated the same otherwise it is totally unfair. I'm not ungrateful at all.

My house is a pit.. and I can't pick stuff off the floor and everyone else is lazy..

Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Photogenic I've been Money Tipped!
    Morning all.

I have my own list for today since I have to work again. However I've already crossed off all the dailies for the first time this week, a wash load of towels have been done then hung outside and downstairs has been vacuumed. I've just made my second coffee of the day so I'm going to sit down and drink that before I start work. Everything else on my list is work related so I'm not going to bother posting it.

One thing I have to do at some point is sort out my phone. At last nights concert I was distinctly lacking space on it to record DD's performance so I deleted photos, a couple of apps and all my music :o At least now when I put the music back on I should be able to only have what I want and avoid the glee songs!

Right kettles boiled, help yourselves! :coffee::coffee::coffee:

Hugs and flylady posivibes to all who need.

Pigpen - I concur - favouritism is blooming awful. My mum is as guilty as anyone.

The first of those soft play parties that I ever attended the parents sat outside. And I saw a rat run past us!!!!!!!!!!!!!

One washload finished, I will throw another one in soon.

Hair is fantastic! Short enough so I feel great, but not too short, which DD2 hates. And for the first time in months I have not woken up bathed in sweat! Result!

Aww they do love those parties, kiddies. But it does need to be fair on the others. DD has only had one proper party because of when her birthday falls (a couple of times we were on holiday). She'll get one this year and DS was told no more after he was 6. She has a bit of catching up to do. But it hasn't really bothered her, to be honest.

Pleased for you about the hair CY full steam ahead for the weekend, eh? X

Popped up to kitchen place earlier, think we are all sorted now. Chosen different plinth lights that will fit, flooring ordered and they might be able to squeeze fitting in next Friday along with the last end panel.

I've also been painting - ceiling patched up, still think it needs another coat <rollseyes> and I've done the first coat of colour on the window / door wall. It looked lilac!!! But appears to be drying grey... I will do around the other door then I'm going for a shower, and then up to W!lkos for more supplies before back to school.

It's all coming along... Told mum how much my flooring was - she freaked out, haha. I possibly could get it done cheaper but I really want them because if someone else does it and scrapes my new units I'm stuffed. If they do it, they will replace.

Thing is, she has gone for the cheap option (builder in residence) and has compromised on everything. 5yrs down the line it's still not finished, there is a hole in her ceiling, still painting to do and she really doesn't like what she's got. Mine might cost a couple of thousand more, but that's why I saved so long for it, it's exactly what I want - she wants to rip hers all out, so she'll end up paying twice.

Anyway. I digress. I'm not flying today. But I am making good progress!

Folks, apologies *grovel, grovel* for long absence - and thanks to Froddy for poking me in the virtual ribs.:o
Long story short, we got back from our cruise and promptly lurched from one crisis to another, just too stressed and tired to even visit MSE, let alone post. Suffice it to say, every Trickster Deity that ever was seems to have got together and had an illegal rave at ours while we were away!

Planned to visit last Thursday evening while Mr LW was at CAMRA meeting (I had the Princesses as excuse to stay home).... and was taken ill that same evening. As in confined-to-bed alternated with take-up-residence-in-bathroom ill. No more details, lest you are reading while eating._pale_ Again long story short, I'm only just now starting to manage a little solid food again. Mr LW even threatened me with the GP!
Bless him, he did take up the slack with dog care.:A

I think it's prob to do with the lupus - it's always had a taste for f***ing up my digestive system - so just have to wait til it gets bored and quiets down for a bit.

Anyways, not read back (not that much energy) but I gather I must welcome a new Pink Piglet to the sty. :hello:

I won't promise to post every day, or even read every day - don't want to promise do so and then not be well enough. However, I do have to try and get a bit mobile, as we have to attend a funeral next Thursday. :(

Flying is, of course, being done by Mr LW as best he can (much better now the Dys0n engineer has been and replaced malfunctioning switch).

Hopefully something approaching normal service will resume..... this side of Samhain, if we're lucky. :D

    Back when I can. ;)
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
